You dropped on your knees and stared at the gruesome scenery in front of you, your mouth agape.

"What have you done..?" You murmured, your head falling in your hand as your hair covered your face. "What have you done."

"Y/n? My love." Her hoarse voice whispered for your name as you stared at her, at her bloodied body, at her heavily wounded body.

"Mother, no.." You said, still not being able to move from the position you fell down on your knees.

"Y/n, come here." Layla murmured in an incoherent hoarse tone as she closed her eye lids.

"No, no mom!" You screamed as you ran towards the corner of the room, where your mom laid back, using the wall as support. Her hand on her stomach as blood dripped down trough her fingers. Her long hair trailed down her waist as she had the most peaceful manner on her face.

You shook her shoulders and she forced herself to open her eyelids, trying to focus her gaze on you. "Who.. Who did this to you?!" You screamed as tears welled up in the corner of your eyes. Layla lifted her hand and pointed towards Abraham, who sat down against the back of the wall, a bloody knife right next to him as he had a terrified expression on. It seemed like he was paralysed from legs down which seemed to be the source of his terrified state.

"Y/n. Avenge your fath-"

"NO! We're not doing this right now, you- you'll be fine, okay? It's all going to be fine mom. By the end of the night, we're going to be drinking coffee and i- i.."

"No, i'm not going to make it, y/n. I want you to know that I'm so so sorry for leaving you behind. I'd do anything to go back and- ARGFHH" Your mother said, before wincing in pain. "I want you to be happy. Avenge Elijah and Griff with all you have left."

"Mom, you're not leaving me okay? I still need you, please don't do this." You pleaded as your head started pounding again.

"May we meet again, one day." She said before she fully closed her eyelid, smiling as one last tear fell down her cheek.

"No, no no no." You whispered as you shook her shoulder. "No! Wake up I need you. I still need you, wake up!"

There was nothing more painful than feeling the death of your mother, for the second time. The first time didn't hurt as much like it hurted now. Finding your only family after believing you'd never meet them, got your hopes high. Hope, what a beautiful yet dangerous thing. Losing her after fantasising about talking with her, about sharing memories with her, hurt much, much more. You laughed and cried at the universe playing with you, at everyone who used, hurt, abused you. Why? One single question, yet no one has ever had the answer for it. Why me? Was this the punishment for your sins? But wait, before you ever comitted a sin, why did you get punished then, which lead you to commit sins. Again, the question 'Why?' kept resurfacing back up in your head.

"WHY DID YOU DO THIS?" You screamed as you ran over to Abraham, your eyes completely bloodshot from crying unconsciously. "WHY, WHY, WHY, WHY, WHY DID YOU DO THIS TO HER?" You screamed as you fell down on your knees, a few meters away from Abraham. You screamed in agony as your head pounded heavily, your heart beat jolted trough your whole body and you felt every fiber in your body ache.

"I- She betrayed us!" Abraham said even more terrified by seeing the agonsising demeanour your held.

"Shut up! Shut up you devil, shut up shut up shut up!" You said gripping the hair on your scalp, pulling it tightly. "I just got her back." You whispered as you bent down on the floor, crying as you screamed so loudly that anyone from far away could hear.

"Die." You looked back up at Abraham and crawled toward him as he held the bloody knife in his hands, shaking it as he pointed it towards you. He tried lunging it forward, but the lack of muscle production in his leg kept him from doing much. You grabbed the end of the knife with your bare hand, not caring that it sliced your fingers. You gripped harder on the sharp end of the knife as you held on it, blood dripping down your fingers and palm as you stared at Abraham with your bloodshot eyes, tears never stopping from streaming down your face.

"Die, you devil. I hope you feel the most agnosing, excruciating pain, ever in hell." You said as you stabbed him right in his stomach, the same way he did to your mother. You lunged your knife forward in his stomach, jolting it in and out, one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten, eleven, twelve times as you twisted it in his organs to make him feel the pain. But no physical pain would ever make up for what he did to you, nothing would ever make up for the mental pain you were going trough, nothing. And you knew that, but you still kept stabbing him to his death.

You felt a hand on your shoulder as the knife clattered down on the ground, next to Abraham's lifeless body. You looked up and saw Ash. When did he come here?

"Y/n.." Ash whispered as he looked at Layla's dead body in the back of the room and the bloody knife next to Abraham's.

Ash's pov:
I got Eiji back after busting down the door and made my way trough Golzine's mansion. Relief, relief was an understatement of how I felt when y/n saved me, when she held me and told me she'd never leave me. As Eiji and I made our way troughout Golzine's mansion, I found Alex and my gang finishing of Golzine's men. I ordered them to smash all of Golzine's cars so they wouldn't be able to chase us and escape with Eiji as quickly as possible. Alex, Kong and Bones smashed the cars in the garage, except of the red Sedan Golzine gifted me on my 16th birthday. There was still something I needed to do, and it was to find Shorter, bust most importantly, y/n, my dearest friend.

I realised she was taking way too long. She promised me she'd be back after getting Shorter, but by now she should've been here. I handed Eiji's responsibility over to Alex and my gang as they left Golzine's mansion. I made my way towards the gigantic lab section Golzine had in his mansion, as I entered the lab section, I could hear someone's excruciating scream. I've heard many screams in my life, but this one, this one seemed so agonised, so pained, so tired. As I ran deeper in to the lab section, I noticed the puddle of blood trailng down towards the inner section of the lab, from where I could hear the screaming. I ran towards the door and jolted it open as I was met by y/n's scream and crying. She was always so composed, calm, collected and always had control over herself. But not today, not this time.

I saw her stab Abraham, one, two, three, four, five, six and many more times until I lost count. She wished him an agonosing afterlife even though she was in one. I touched her shoulder as I crouched down to her level. Her eyes were completely bloodshot and her body completely gave up on her. She was still slumped down as she cried, cried and cried until she couldn't anymore. But I gave her, her time. The time she needed to collect herself again and be her old self. I was worried she wouldn't be able to move or accept her mother's death, but surprisingly, she wobbly stood up and held on to me for support.

"Shorter is in the back room, get him out and burn this place up." She murmured without making eye contact as she stared at the tiles on the floor, tears still streaming down her face.

I nodded and told her to wait outside. I went in and grabbed Shorter who laid unconscious on the black leather chair. After I brought Shorter to safety, y/n grabbed a lighter and lit the whole lab up using alcohol disinfectant to speed the proces up. I told y/n to meet with me in the garage after she was ready, because I knew she wanted and needed time.

Y/n stood there, slowly watching as the whole lab burnt down, as her mother's body turned in to ashes. I once again took her peace away, once again she's in danger. Am I selfish for wanting her to be by my side? Why am I doing this? Will she stay with me after all this? Why do i want her to be next to me all the time? Her presence is so comforting, the way she can make anyone's day, the way she talks about the stuff she loves. I want her to be happy, but how?

She returned to the garage, slowly dragging herself. I put Shorter's unconscious form in the back of the red Sedan as y/n sat next to me in the passenger seat. She stared outside the window, the cold wind blew her hair in every direction as I drove the car at full speed. All I want to do for now is make sure that she's safe. I'm forever indebted to her, she saved me so many times, even though she had nothing to do with me. The way she treats me as if I'm a normal person is always so comforting, but how long will she want to be with me?
