7) Doctor Meredith

"You know you could drop by more to let me know your even alive y/n"

"Yeah sorry doc"

"How are you, it's been long"

"I'm doing ok doc, kinda ran into trouble yesterday"

"Again?"

"Uh yeah"

"Just like your mother" Doctor Meredith walked towards you and patted your hair.

"Wait what"

"When we were in university together, she always used to run into trouble"

"Oh, she never seemed like the type to be troublesome, she was always so strict on me with education and my social circle"

"Oh trust me, you're an angel compared to her kiddo, when she got pregnant with you, she decided to turn her life around and be more serious i guess"

"Oh"

"Did you need anything kid?"

"Yeah, this is my friend Ash and this is Griffin Callenreese"

"Wasn't he Elijah's close friend?"

"Yeah, i just found out yesterday that he's alive but his physical state isn't ideal as you can see. Also i need you to check this" You handed him the glass container that obtained the substance.

"Doesn't seem like Heroin or any other drug"

"Exactly what i was thinking, that's why i brought this to you"

"He keeps muttering Banana fish, was he a Salinger fan?"

"That i don't know, but someone called the substance in this little container 'Banana Fish' and if i'm guessing correctly, father and Griffin might've consumed this drug" You said thinking about more possibilities of how and why they ended up being like that.

After doctor Meredith asked Ash questions about Griffin's physical and mental state, and everything about how he's been since Iraq, which wasn't much since he was a lifeless person, he decided to take care of Griffin.

"I see. Say what, i'll check on this substance and take care of Griffin"

"Thank you, i knew i could count on you doc" You said smiling slightly.

"Y/n, i need to talk to you"

"What is it doc" You asked him in a more serious tone, you hated when someone wanted to have a talk with you. It gave you stress and you just didn't like having serious talks.

Ash got his que and went outside so Dr. Meredith could talk to you privately. He left Dr. Meredith's clinic thanking him and handed him some money.

"Y/n, i have a feeling this is connected with what happened with your mother"

"I already know that"

"So you just want to step into a lion's cage? Your mother wouldn't want this"

"Sure doc, when i needed her the most she kept herself locked in her room for days even though i needed her. I begged her to come out for so long, but she wasn't there for me was she? Then she decided to come out after we received my father's body just to dissect him so she could find the cause of his death. Couldn't even have a bloody funeral and that's all i asked for!" You said in a much higher tone. At this point you were tired of constantly thinking about your parents since you hated the topic.

"That's all i asked for" You said with your head hanging low. You barely screamed since you were a calm, composed person. And if you did, it was mainly because something was really bothering you or you really needed to scream.
