"Oh, sorry sir." I apologised when I bumped in to a man on the street outside the convenience store.
"That's on me." Said the man as he picked up the pumpkin I had dropped whilst bumping in to the stranger.
"Uhm.. Sir?" I said when he stared at the pumpkin he held in his hand.
"My bad. It reminded me of someone." Said the stranger, a saddened smile creeping up on his face.
"Ah, alright. Have a nice day, sir." I said as he handed me the pumpkin.
"You too, young lady." Said the stranger who had shoulder length, dark brown hair, which was pulled back in to a low pony tail. He wore a beige suit and a fedora hat which seemed a little weird to me, paired with thin silver glasses. I forgot about the little incident and quickly made my way to the condo and dropped the food and decor in the hallway when I finally arrived.
"Y/n! You're back." Said Eiji, picking the plastic bag up and taking the food, snacks, soda cans and preperations for the little party Eiji and I had planned, out.
"Yupp." I said, slouching on the couch as I stared at the Japenese.
"How long do we have left?" Asked Eiji.
"Hmm. Around 4 hours according to Shorter. But since it's Shorter, we should already start preparing." I said, getting up from the couch and helping Eiji with the decor. "Kong and Bones will be coming over in 2 hours or something." I said, which Eiji nodded to.
"I can't wait to see his face." Said Eiji, a devilish smile creeping up on his face.

"Shorter and Ash are here. Be ready!!" I whisper screamed, holding a glass of juice in my hand and preparing myself to scare the blonde. Eiji, Kong and Bones also prepared themselves as they sat on the couch together, their arms up in the air and big smiles on their face.
"3, 2, 1.."
"Hey, you're home Ash!!!" Bones, Kong, Eiji and me screamed in sync when the blonde entered the living room. As expected, he had a scared demeanour on when he saw the pumpkins all over the room.
"Wh-what's with these pumpkins?!" Asked Ash, freaking out on the inside, on the outside too.
"Come on, it's halloween. This one's from our neighbour Mrs. Coleman, and this one's from Mrs. Owen downstairs." Said Eiji proudly, pointing at the pumpkin and blueberry pie.
"You.. You're buddies with the housewives here?" Asked Ash, backing away from the pumpkins.
"They meet all the time at the supermarket downstairs, so they became friends with Eiji." I said, walking up to Ash with a pumpkin in my hand.
"Stay away or I'll cry!" Pleaded Ash, backing away from me as I started laughing, tears welling up in the corner of my eyes.
"Trick or treat!!" Said Kong and Eiji together.

"Now I understand why you asked me to stall Ash." Said Shorter, holding his hand in front of his face in attempt to hide the big grin plastered on his face.
"So you were in on this too?" Asked Ash, his eyebrows furrowed.
"Sorry mate, I didn't have a choice because of little miss here." Said Shorter, tugging on my ponytail as he sat next to me. Eiji and Ash sat together on the couch across us, and Kong and Bones snuggled up together as they slept on the other couch.
"Why am I not surprised?" Said Ash, furrowing his eyebrows as he stared at me. I grinned and put my soda on the coffee table in front of me, grabbing more candies from the bowl.
