I woke up to Eiji who shook Ash, followed by my who was also getting shrugged because Ash still held me in to a tight embrace. I felt heat rising up to my cheeks thinking about the way he held me before falling asleep, but I still kept my eyes close.
"Ash, wake up. It's time." Said Eiji shrugging his shoulders. "I said, wake up. It's been 2 hours." Said Eiji trying to wake the blonde up. I felt him tighten his embrace around me as his arms were curled up around my waist. He rested his chin on top of my head and sighed.
"2 hours?" Asked Ash groggily.
"Yeah, just like you said." Answered Eiji. I could already see the smile Eiji held on to his face by just hearing his voice.
"I said that?" Asked Ash as I felt him loosen his grip on me and get up from the bed. I felt the covers pull away from my body as I slightly shivered from the cold. "I'm going to take a shower." He said as he pulled the covers over to my chin, making sure I wouldn't be cold anymore. He walked out of the room as I still kept my eyes close, pretending to be asleep until I heard him scream.
"Hey, WHERE'S THE SOAP. THE SAMPOO, TOO!" He screamed which made me smile slightly.
"Yes sir, coming right up!" Said Ash's gang members as they scattered throughout the hideout, searching for the shampoo and soap as fast as they could before they had to face the wrath of their boss.
I sat up on the bed, rubbing my eyes with the back of my hand. My eyes felt less swollen up, and I felt a little better after I slept, but the feeling of disappearing off of the face of earth and never coming back still lingered in the back of my mind. But I knew it wasn't possible, and that I couldn't, simply because of that promise I made.
Eiji walked over to me breaking me out of my thoughts and passed me a glass of water with 2 aspirins. "Thank you, really needed that." I said with a slight smile. He looked back at me and sat on the bed, facing me.
"I'm sorry for your loss." Eiji said, looking down as I slurped the water down in one chug before popping the pills in my mouth.
I dried the water off of my mouth with my sleeve and gave him back the glass. "It's okay, what happened has happened." I said looking down at the sheets. "You should give the Lynx his shampoo and soap before he kills the rest here." I said chuckling as I swung my legs to the side of the bed and stood up, trying to not lose my balance as I still felt light headed.
"Slowly, don't strain yourself y/n." Said Eiji, a little worried.
"Aye aye captain." I said slowly walking to the red couch. I was originally planning on going for a walk or do something, but the dizziness I felt, probably because of the lack of sleep and food, strained me.
I plopped myself on the couch and laid still, staring at the ceiling above me as my left leg slumped down over the edge. Every few minutes I'd tap out of my train of thoughts by Kong or Bones who asked me some questions or by the bickering between the members of the gang. Alex came back to the hideout shortly after I woke up and I made sure Shorter was alright with my interrogating questions. Nadia would be taking care of him but I made a mental note to myself to go check up on Shorter and explain to Nadia what happened and how he was heavily drugged.
Eventually Ash came out of the bathroom with a towel wrapped around his neck. He wore an oversized blue button up shirt paired with basic blue ripped jeans. The tension in the air was thick and visible when Aslan came out, mainly because of the respect his gang members hold for him. They were holding their breath watching Aslan's every move, waiting for their boss's order. His words were their law, and Aslan was their 'king', the symbol of respect, fear and absolute authority.
