The moment Ash and I arrived at George's place, we immediately fell asleep on the fist thing we saw as comfort. I didn't even remember entering the place, just that I fell, face planted, on a bed I stumbled across in a room. Ash fell asleep on a couch in the living room.

I woke up feeling a little cold on my legs and arms. I shot up, groaning in bed and realised I was still wearing the nurses clothes since I didn't have the chance to change it, considering I had to leave my clothes behind at the institute to escape that place. I groaned out of annoyance and rubbed my eyes, dropping my head between my knees.

"Y/n, are you awake?" I heard Ash ask before knocking on the door.

"Yeah, you can come in." I covered myself in the duvet before cuddling myself beneath the warm blanket and cushion.

"How long have I been asleep?" I asked, digging my face in the cushion.

"16 hours."

"What?!" I asked, slowly jolting up on the bed.

"I guess you really were tired." Ash chuckled.

"I guess." I mumbled.

"Come on, get up." Ash said, trying to take the duvet I was so comfortably wrapped in, away from me.

"Noo, it's so warm in here." I snuggled deeper in the warm blanket.

"Breakfast will be ready in 15. Shorter made some Chinese dumplings."

"Shorter's here too? Chinese dumplings?? Hell yess." I said, daydreaming about food.

"Yeah, now get up." Ash sat on the bed, facing his back to me.

"I will." I sighed. "Hey Ash." I said, gaining his attention as he side glanced me.

"Yes?" He asked as I reached for his arm and yanked him downwards on the bed. He obviously fell and I wrapped him around, trapping him in the warm duvet.

"Y/n!" Ash yelped, surprised by my sudden action as I hugged him trough the thick warm duvet which was wrapped around Ash's form.

"Sorry sorry. I just felt like doing it." I said, getting up from the bed. "Umm, do you have clothes cuz I don't want to run around in nurse clothes." I scratched my cheek. "Hey don't fall asleep!" I said, shaking the blonde as he snuggled in the duvet, just like I was moments ago.

"Mmm yeah. I figured you'd want new clothes so I told Shorter to buy a pair of clothes for you."

"You guys better have bought something good." I said, walking out of the room.

"Oh, you might want to say that to Shorter."

"Mmkay." I walked out of the room, looking around the unfamiliar penthouse. It was quite clean and nice, but a thought hit me. I don't have a home anymore, I don't have a real place to call home anymore. We've been jumping from hideout to hideout, penthouse to penthouse, yet we don't have a real place to call home.

"Yo. Good morning, princess." Greeted Shorter, bringing me out of my thoughts. "Max was right, you really do look like a cute little girl in a dress."

"What?" I asked, giving Shorter a deathly glare as I whipped my head towards him.

"N-nothing. Anyway! I left clothes for you in the bathroom. It's down the hall, to the left." Shorter grinned, turning back and walking to the kitchen to prepare breakfast.

"Alright." I walked to the bathroom, closing the door and locking it behind me as I stared at myself in the mirror which hung on the wall. On the heater behind me, hung some clothes as he promised. I prayed silently in my mind, and inspected the clothes. A big white oversized button up shirt and black skinny jeans. Hmmph, not bad Shorter. (a/n: trust me this outfit is soy cute ughsjskks even though i'm not a big fan of skinny jeans, it be bussin bussin on top of an oversized button up shirt and some rings 😌) I smiled in approval and quickly put the clothes on. I washed my face with water and quickly left the bathroom.
