"Stop here." I said, unbuckling my seatbelt and stepping out of the car. "Let's have a talk."

Yut Lung walked out of the drivers seat, following after me in an empty street. I dropped the shard of glass on the concrete road and stared at Yut Lung with an apologetic glare.

He of course, looked back at me and had his usual expression on— one which wasn't a scared one, nor a happy one, it was just one.

"I know about your past."

"What?" He asked, his expression shifting slightly for a single second, but changing again to his usual one.

"I don't understand. Ash and you, you both are so similar to each other, yet you hate him. Why?" I asked, already knowing he won't give me an answer.

"How do you even know about it?" He asked, obviously dodging my question.

"I got my resources." I replied. "You both are like yin and yang, you both had to be strong to survive, even though you guys chose a different path."

"And I'll be a formidable foe against him. So let's be clear, I will continue to come after Eiji and you, as long as you both are Ash's weak point."

"Why..?" I asked, grabbing my gun out of my waistband and pointing it at him. "Why?"

"Shoot me. Kill me for Ash." He said calmly, not even moving an inch. I looked at him and scoffed, not daring to move my fingers to pull the trigger even though my mind was telling me to— because it seemed the most logical. I lived and survived by one motto the past 4 years, which was, eliminate enemies when you can and never think twice about it.

"What's wrong? Ash would pull the trigger without any hesitation if someone would be after you." Yut Lung said, breaking my train of thoughts. "You can't do it can you? This just proves how useless you are in Ash's life." He continued.

"No! I can't shoot someone who isn't resisting." I tried defending myself, but I knew really well what he said, was true.

"What's the difference? Ash wouldn't hesitate to get more blood on his hands for you. He'll hurt himself so you or Eiji don't get hurt." Yut Lung said, his demeanour changing to a slightly pained one for a split second. One which was pained to not have a person like Eiji or Ash by his side, a person who would kill for him, a person who would die for him.

"It's not fair, is it? Not fair at all." Yut Lung said in his usual sarcastic tone, but it was pretty obvious for me that there was a deeper meaning behind what he said. He never had the chance to have a real friend in his life, it isn't fair for him.

"You're right, it isn't. But you wouldn't understand. You never will." I said, lowering my gun. "It isn't fair for you at all, Yut Lung."

"The funny thing is, you love being seen as indestructible, and as a foe against other people— because of what had happened to you when you were just a kid, because of what your brothers did to you." I said, looking at the ground as I tucked my gun away.

"But you're a good person for god's sake." I said, crossing my arms. "So when you feel like it, fucking talk to me when you need me, not that I'm encouraging you, but it helps."

"No matter how blatant you want to be against me, I won't let you have the satisfaction of me hating you, so deal with it and think about it." I finally said, turning around and walking away from the Chinese.
