21) Mother, how?

You fluttered your eyes open with a lot of effort as you felt every muscle in your body hurt. You heard muffled voices ringing in your head but couldn't exactly make out the voices. As you finally jolted your eyes open, you saw the distraught face of Shorter staring right at yours, worry and panic clearly visible in his eyes. You saw his mouth moving, but didn't hear anything he tried saying. The ringing and muffled voices in your ears started becoming even louder and the shooting pain in your head became heavier. You tried bringing your hands up to your head, but got stopped by the ropes tied around your wrist.

You noticed that your head laid on Shorter's lap, as he gently stroked your hair out of your face. What is happening? Where am i? You questioned yourself before jolting up from his lap. You looked around the room and saw Yau Si and another Chinese man in a blue suit staring right at you. And then it hit you, Yau Si betrayed you. Images of what happened before you passed out came flashing back in your mind as you screamed in pain from the the throbbing pain in your head.

"Y/n are you ok?" Asked Shorter as he shrugged your shoulders to get a response from you.

You looked back at him, still not able to understand everything he said. "My, my head" You were able to murmur as you scratched the couch out of pain. The impact that the vase made with your head hit really hard and left a nasty little scar on your forehead.

"Y/n look at me, breath with me alright?" Said Shorter as he took deep breaths in and out. He held your face in his palms, gently wiping the tears away with his thumb that welled up in your eyes. You mimicked him and finally calmed down after a few minutes.

"Why am i tied up?" You asked to the man in suit after you came back to your senses.

"So that you won't do anything rash. Shorter is overpowered by us so he can't do anything and the little Japanese cat is helpless" The man in the suit explained.

"Who the hell even are you guys?" You asked looking at Yau Si and the man in suit.

"The eldest of the Lee Clan, Lee Wang-Lung" Said the man proudly. "And that's Yut Lung, the youngest of the Lee clan" Said Wat-Lung pointing towards Yut Lung.

"So even your name was a lie huh" You said looking at Yut Lung gritting your teeth. Yut Lung looked emotionless back at you with a sadistic look on his face, but you could see the pained expression he tried hiding in his eyes.

"It was nothing personal" Said Yut Lung stoically.

"You bastard" You said as someone walked in. You took your eyes off of Yut Lung, darting it towards the blonde standing in the doorway. It took you a few seconds to finally realise who he was, Arthur.

"Now now, don't look at me like that" Said Arthur. You already felt so disgusted as he talked to you. "I'm here to take you" He said as he walked towards you, jolting you off from the couch and dragging your tied up wrists with him. You had no choice but to drag yourself with him.

"Stop! Leave her alone" Screamed Shorter as he took a knife out from his sneakers and held it against the unconscious throat of Eiji.

"Try to take her away from me, and i'll rip his throat open" Said Shorter as he held Eiji in his lap, pointing a knife against Eiji's throat.

"What a loud mouth. Dino won't like it if you let his precious toy die. I cant care less, hand the Japanese cat over" Said Arthur loosening his grip on your tied wrists.

"Over my dead body!" Screamed Shorter as he held Eiji tighter. "Leave y/n alone."

"Sorry, but Papa Dino doesn't want a stray Chinese cat. He wants a black eyes Japanese cat, and miss l/n.
