The Unwanted Encounter (Ash Lynx x Reader)

20) I'm sorry, i really liked you.

You woke up to Eiji shaking your shoulders. It was about 9 pm, you slept for 8 hours and felt pretty good until you saw Eiji and Ibe's distressed face. You rubbed your eyes with the back of your hands and sat up trying to adjust to the lightning of the living room.

"Eiji what happened?" You asked groggily as you just woke up from sleeping.

"I don't really know, some people were at Jessica's house threatening her. Ash and Max went there to deal with them" Answered Eiji as you tried understanding what the Japanese boy just said to you.

"Wait what? Why didn't you guys wake me up earlier?" You asked throwing the blanket of you. 

"Ash told me to wake you up later so you could stay here with us and Shorter" Answered the ravened hair boy as he sat on the couch across you. Ibe came to sit next to you, assuring you everything would be fine as long as Ash was with Max.

After a few minutes of you catching up with them and catching up with the events that happened while you were asleep, Ibe held his chest tightly as his breathing slowly became ragged.

"Ibe what is wrong with-" You tried completing your sentence before he fell unconscious on the couch. Eiji ran up to Ibe as he shook his shoulders to get some reaction. You checked his pupils and pulse to see if he was just knocked out and let a shaky breath out when you concluded he was fine and that he was just poisoned or drugged. Wait what.

As you looked to your right, you saw Eiji's body go limp and Yau Si gracefully catch him in his arms as he held a long needle in his hand.

"What did you do to him?" Screamed Shorter as he came in the room seeing Ibe unconscious and Eiji's limp body, as you were extremely confused.

"He can't move anymore, he can't see, he can't hear, he can't move a single finger, he's just a living doll now" Explained Yau Si as he carefully put Eiji's limp body on the floor. Did Yau Si do all this? I shouldn't have trusted him, shit, shit, shit. But how? How did he do it and why. I have to take care of this before, before-

"But not this man, he can see and hear. In other words, he's watching all this. You're betrayal, too" Continued Yau Si as he pointed towards Ibe. I have to do something before he does something else. Wait, Shorter was in on this? Shit, this is why i never should've trusted people. I've gone way too soft the past weeks.

"Yau Si you bastard, what is the meaning of this. I won't let you live you dirty pig" You said taking a switch blade out of your pocket as you gave him a dirty look.

Yau Si looked at you with hurt and regret in his eyes for a split second, but it quickly changed when he started laughing manically. "Now now, don't bad mouth me. I'm not the only one in on this" Said the Chinese man going trough his long silky black hair, but stopped when he felt the braid you put in his hair earlier.

You could've sworn you saw some sort of hurt in his eyes before his demeanour changed again. "What do you mean?" You asked as your heartbeat started beating rapidly. You tried staying composed, but seeing Eiji and Ibe unconscious wasn't helping much. You gripped your knife harder as you bit your lip to relieve some stress.

"Your friend here betrayed you" Said Yau Si as he pointed towards Shorter.

"Shorter.. No. I don't believe you" You said as you ran towards Shorter.

"Looks like you shouldn't trust people that easily, y/n" Said Yau Si as he walked closer towards you and Shorter. You stood in front of Shorter in a protective stance as you grabbed a second switch blade out of your pocket, ready to fight Yau Si.

"Shorter, it isn't true right?" You tried convincing yourself as you held on to your knives tighter, still standing protectively in front of Shorter.

"I'm sorry y/n, i didn't have a choice" You heard Shorter say before you turned around towards him, just to be met with a vase getting smashed really hard on to your head.

You winced in pain as you dropped your knives and held your head in your hands. You felt blood dripping down your forehead as you looked at Shorter, tears welling up in your eyes. You saw the vase in his hands as he looked back at you in a gruesome expression. 

"I'm sorry." You heard Shorter merely whisper as everything in the room started spinning. Slowly, everything you saw started becoming darker and darker as you tried holding on to consciousness, but the hard impact the vase made on your head made it hard.

Yau Si came closer to you and picked you up, bridal style as he started to walk towards the front door. Shorter followed after him as he held Eiji's limp body in his arms.

"I will never trust you again" You barely whispered, only loud enough for him to hear it. The last thing you saw was Yau Si's hurt and pained face. The way he looked at you was enough for you to realise he didn't like doing what he was doing, that he had to and it was too late to take it all back.

As your eyelids started becoming heavier, you thought you heard Yau Si whisper one last thing. "I'm sorry y/n, i really liked you. Please, forgive me"

You fell unconscious, in deep sleep, as the Chinese man carried you in to his car, followed by Shorter who carried Eiji.
