I was running next to the stretcher where Ash laid in. He was unconscious, his body becoming colder by the second, face losing all its color.

I held onto his hand, it was cold. The little warmth it held, dissipated in the cold air as he was being loaded in the ambulance by paramedics.

Max had arranged to transport Ash to a private hospital where no questions would be asked about him being a 'criminal' since he was announced dead weeks ago during the time where they held him in the International Mental Health Institute.

"Ash, Aslan. Please, open your eyes!" I tried getting a reaction out of him whilst he laid in the stretcher, about to be loaded in the ambulance.

"Stand back." I felt a hand on my shoulder, a familiar man standing over me.

"Blanca?" I looked at him, confused. Confused by what he was doing there.

"You can't go. You should know better."

"Shut up!" I screamed at him, trying to get to Ash as he laid in the ambulance. But I was held back by that same hand on my shoulder, stopping me from taking a step forward towards Ash. "Let go of me!" I squirmed under his firm hold, tried getting away from him.

"Leave me alone! I need to be with him." I screamed, squirmed, tried escaping out of his grasp upon seeing the paramedics close the ambulance door.

"You can't and you know that very well." Blanca argued, holding me even tighter.

"Let go of m-" I tried saying something before blacking out feeling a firm and heavy chop in the back of my neck.

I woke up, laying in a bed located in one of the rooms at Cain's hideout, an IV drip attached to my arm, bandage wrapped around my gunshot wound I forgot I had received.

"She should be fine." I heard Blanca's voice blurred out in my mind, along with other voices including Cain's and Alex's. I felt the gunshot pain throughout my left arm, fatigue all over my body, a sour spot at the back of my neck from when Blanca knocked me out. Using every power left in my body, I jolted up from the bed, breathed raggedly staring at the concrete wall in front of me, my mind running wild, my body trying to adapt to its new state.

"Don't move." Blanca's hands rested on my shoulders, tried stopping me from getting up too soon.

"Let me go." I gritted my teeth at him, swiftly sliding my hand in his blazer-jacket, grabbing his gun out in a swift motion.

"Move over." I commanded, pointing my gun at him. Everyone in the room gasped, Cain and Alex staring widely at my reaction the moment I pulled Blanca's gun out, pointing it at him.

"Stand back." Blanca told everyone, holding a hand out in front of them so they wouldn't attempt to step closer to me. "Can we have some privacy?" He asked, signaling them all to leave the room.

Slowly yet quickly, they all left, closing the door behind them as Blanca had asked. The gun still stayed pointed at his form, my body slightly hunched over from the pain.

"Move, or I'll shoot you."

"What good would it do to go? You're a criminal, you're wanted, y/n. If someone recognizes you at the hospital, they'd alert the cops immediately. You should be thankful for the fact he's able to be treated in a private hospital. Were he to be transported to a public one, he'd get caught for being alive and Golzine would immediately send people to target him." He explained calmly, not moving an inch from where he was standing as I slid my finger through the trigger hole.

"Shut up!" I screamed at him, voice cracking at the end. My finger pulled the trigger, a bullet flying by his hair, lightly grazing it. I couldn't stand to look at him any longer, couldn't stand anyone stopping me from seeing Ash.
