TW: Gore, blood, suicidal thoughts.

"This way." Said the servant opening the door, leading Sing, Blanca and me inside. As we entered the mansion, a gunshot was heard. A servant who looked like a cook came running down the stairs at us, his face distraught, a gun in his hand, pointed at us.

"Stand back!" Screamed Blanca, immediately taking his gun out, aiming it at the servant's hand. The gunshot hit the servant directly in his hand, resulting the gun to fall down, away from his hand. However, the distraught man collected himself, picked the gun up with his other hand, tumbling and running down the stairs towards the first person he could see, me.

My reflexes immediately kicked in, my body moved forward without me even realising it. I grabbed my knife from within my jacket, pointing it at the cook's heart, as if I was programmed to. It was pure instincts.

"Don't kill him!" Said Blanca a second before my knife made impact with his body. I rotated my knife downwards so only my fist would make impact on his chest. I punched the man distraughtly hard, his form tumbled backwards from my hard impact, his hand lost grip on the gun he held as he fell down. Blanca and Sing ran towards the man who laid flat on the staircase, consciousness seemed to slip away from his grasp.

"No use. He bit a poison capsule." Blanca said, examining the body as I put my knife away in my jacket. Blanca shot up, running towards the room where Yut Lung was usually in. Sing and me followed after him upon realising Yut Lung was probably the one who was shot by the man.

"He's the cook I hired last month." I heard Yut Lung say as Sing and I finally arrived in the room. Blanca wrapped a cloth around Yut Lung's arm as Sing walked forward towards the both of them.

"Bear with me." Blanca assured Yut Lung upon him hissing from the pain, tying a knot with the cloth around his slender arm. "He was a hired professional. Any idea who it could be?"

"So many, I wouldn't know." Yut Lung deviously said in his usual tone.

"They're saying your brothers are being killed by the Vietnamese because somebody spread those rumours." Sing said, crossing his arms. Yut Lung looked at Sing and me, again, his eyes widening the slightest when seeing me.

"Shut up! I never called for you. Leave!" Yut Lung screamed at me, anger and confusion clouding his eyes the moment he saw me. He never understood why he never fully succeeded into making me hate him.

"Now, now. Young miss here tried to capture the culprit, too." Blanca walked up to Yut Lung, draping his blazer around Yut Lung's bare chest—because of the gunshot, he had to pull his Chinese attire somewhat down so they could stop the bleeding.

I examined his arm. I could see a little blood prickling down his left arm, the symbolic Lee tattoo just tatted above his collarbone. Yut Lung huffed at me, walking back to the couch as I just stared at him, partly dumbfounded.

A doctor was called for Yut Lung's gunshot. After a short while, everything was just how it was supposed to be, minus the fact Yut Lung was about to be assassinated by the cook who probably got drugged by Banana Fish. Sing and I waited impatiently for Yut Lung's doctor's approval to talk to him again as we leaned against the window, staring at the devious Chinese being a dramatic bitch as he laid in his king sized bed. His bedroom was basic, neat and clean, with a touch of Chinese ornaments and decor.

"Forgive me for dragging you into this. I hadn't planned on this." Yut Lung said, looking at Blanca who stood next to his bedside after the doctor had left.

"You have too many enemies for a person your age." Blanca said, slightest bit of empathy lacing his words.

"I was born under the wrong stars." Was all Yut Lung said, the same saddened expression creeping up on his face for a split second, the one at Golzine's mansion.
