I quickly dug trough my duffel bag and tried finding the appropriate clothes which would 'make me seem younger' as Ash said in the kitchen. But it wasn't that simple since I only owned basic street wear clothes.
"I should have a button up shirt laying around somewhere from when I used to work in the cafe." I said to no one in particular as I emptied my bag.
"Y/n we're leaving in 5 minutes." Said Ash from within the other room.
"Give me 15 minutes." I said as I finally found the shirt and sweater I was searching for.
"Girl.." He remarked. "I'll be outside, be there in 10." Ash said as I heard him shuffle and eventually leave the hideout.
I wore my light pink buttoned up shirt, tucked in light blue mum jeans and a pastel purple sweater over my shirt. I put my glasses on, wore tiny stud earrings and slid the ring I always wore over my finger. I stored some switchblades in the back of my pocket and tucked my gun in the waistband of my jeans, hidden underneath my sweather. Quickly, I put on my converse shoes and my black cotton jacket, and looked at myself in the mirror, making sure I looked presentable enough.
"I look 4 years younger than I actually am." I said to myself before quickly making my way out of the hideout.
"Took your time." Said Ash when I finally left the hideout and met him on the side of the alleyway which was located next to his hideout.
"Forgive me, captain." I said sarcastically. "Wow. We're matching a little, with our clothes." I pointed out, observing his attire. It wasn't much different than mine, except for the colour and pattern of his sweater.
"Yeah, I was worried you'd just come out with your usual clothes." Said Ash as he put his phone away. "Arthur's and Golzine's men are after us, so a disguise comes handy at times." Ash explained.
"Ohh." I said quietly. "Makes sense."
"Yeah, are you ready to leave?" He asked as he stuffed his hands in his beige coloured coat.
"Yup." I answered as we both started walking out of Chinatown.
"So where are we going?" I asked looking straight ahead.
"Oyster Bar Restaurant." The blonde said.
After a few minutes of walking and taking the subway, we finally arrived at our destination. It was slightly cold in New York, so when I was finally met by the warmth of the restaurant, I felt somewhat relieved. I looked around and the interior of the restauraunt seemed pretty nice. Not too cheap, and not too high class. Perfect to meet here in disguise since Golzine wouldn't be seen here because of his 'high class' rich people behaviour, and the safest since no gang members would come here either. The restaurant was beige-brown colour themed, a few pictures hung here and there and the interior was pretty okay too.
"There's Max." Said Ash as he walked towards the back of the restaurant.
"Hmm." I answered, following after him.
"Y/n!" Remarked Max when he saw me standing behind Ash.
"Shht, old man." Said Ash glaring daggers trough his eyes.
"Hi Max, what's up with the fake moustache?" I asked, sitting in front of him as the blonde sat next to Max.
"Ash asked me to, or he'd kill me if I didn't." Said Max, sweatdropping. I chuckled and shook my head staring at the 2 boys. The waiter came shortly after me and Ash took place and served our food not too long after we ordered.
"That's all you're eating?" Asked Max when he saw the lack of food I ordered.
"I'm watching my weight, you go ahead and dig in." I said grabbing a fork.
