"The yule ball has been a tradition of the tri-wizard tournament since its inception. On Christmas eve night we and our guests gather in the Great Hall all for well mannered frivolity. As representatives of the host school I expect each and every one of you to put your best foot forward, and I mean this literally because the yule ball is first and foremost... A dance" McGonagall said.

The boys groaned in annoyance but the girls seemed more excited.

"Silence. The house of Godric Gryffindor has commanded the respect of the wizard world for nearly ten centuries. I will not have you in the course of a single evening besmirching that name by behaving like a babbling, bumbling band of baboons" McGonagall continued.

I saw the twins whispering and they are trying to repeat McGonagall, making me stifle a laugh.

"Now to dance is to let the body breathe, inside every girl a secret swan slumbers longing to burst forth and take flight" Ron whispered something to Seamus "Inside every boy a lordly lion prepared to prance. Mr Weasley, will you join me" McGonagall said and Ron got up "Now, place your right hand on my waist" She said, putting her hands in the right position for the dance.

"Where?" Ron asked, checking to see if she really asked that.

"My waist" McGonagall said and Ron put his hand on her waist.

Fred wolf-whistled and Ron looked like he was gonna pounce on him but McGonagall put his hand on her waist again.

"Now bend your arm. Mr Filch" she called and Filch put on the music.

The twins were dancing around and I giggled like a little child.

"One two three, one two three, one two three" she counted as her and Ron danced together.

Harry said something to the twins and they shook their heads.

"Everybody come together" McGonagall said and all the girls instantly rose, except me. All the guys are still seated "Boys, on your feet" McGonagall said and after a moment, Neville stood.

Eventually, everyone started dancing and I stayed seated. I pulled out my phone and started looking through some photos of me and my family. We were all so happy in the photos and I was feeling a little home sick.

"Hey" a familiar voice called and I looked up to see Fred.

"Hey" I say.

"Is this seat taken?" he asks. I gesture for him to sit "So, no one asked you to dance?" Fred asked and I shook my head.

"I guess no one wants to dance with the freak" I say and chuckle lightly.

"Could I be the first?" Fred asked and I gave him a look.

"What, to dance with a freak?" I ask.

"To dance with a friend" he says and gets up, holding his hand out.

"I... I don't know how to dance" I say, embarrassed "At the wedding, I was terrible at it and I'm still terrible at it" I say.

"I can teach you" he says and I hesitantly take his hand.

"Don't tell Bucky about this or he will go ballistic" I say and he chuckles.

"I won't. I can't risk being hurt by him. He's crazy" Fred said and I smiled.

"That's my husband, you know" I say and put a hand on his shoulder and a hand in his. He puts a hand on my waist.

"Is this okay?" he asked and I nodded my head "Okay, just follow me and look at me" he says and I look at him "Look at my eyes, not your feet, okay. Not that you can't, they're gorgeous"
