Wei Wuxian's POV:

Having just bid our farewell to Akio and Sizhui was one of the most emotional moments. To know that they have to lead their own life without us being there, I never imagined the child I once saved would become such an integral part of my life, and that same child now has a partner to look after him.

Live well Sizhui. May you and Akio see all the marital bliss.

As for us, right now there were two open portals. One that would lead back to the human realm and the other was pretty much unknown.

"What are you going to choose Wei Wuxian? The unknown world or the human realm?" This question was posed by Hua Cheng and I turn to look at Ah Zhan, "You choose. I long promised to never leave you all alone again. Where you go, there your Ah Xian will follow."

Threading our fingers together the man who is my world smiles serenely, "Knowing you and me, I am aware that your soul isn't going to sit still for long. That isn't you, and it isn't me to stop you. How much ever a part of you wants to stay safe, the other will always seek adventure. So, why not seek adventure together and leave everything else to fate?"

With a mock gasp I tease, "Where is Lan Zhan and what have you done with him?"

Tapping my wrist he smiles, "Remember you named me after you. Seems the quality of Wei has transferred into me. The moment I became Wei Zhan, I am following your personality." At his jest I laugh and quickly kiss his cheeks, "Then let's go for an adventure of lifetime, Wei Zhan. Where it's just you, me and a promise for eternity."

"Oh, I am going to miss you two." Hearing Xie Lian sound so dejected I pat his shoulders and grin, "Liar. After we leave, my friend there is not going to let you up for air. So, don't feel sad for long, we'll meet again."

Chuckling at my words, His Highness bows down with respect and we reciprocate the same.

Turning towards the other three I smile at He Xuan's emotional stance. He's the only one to look super excited. I bet the next time we meet, he'd have been betrothed to that Seiji guy. I sure am going to miss seeing GG and that brat, Oreo. But I did see her future. Should I tell Xiao Zhan and Wang Yibo?

"Wei Wuxian," at Xiao Zhan's soft words I turn to look at him when he takes a step forward and gives me a warm hug whispering his heart out, "You came like an Angel in our lives. For me mortal or not, you'll always be The Yiling Patriarch. I will never forget our late night conversations where you encouraged me to confess my feelings for Dai Tou. Your story brought me closer to mine. Though we look alike, I am glad that I bear a part of your soul. I, Xiao Zhan, forever promise to keep you and your Lan Zhan safe."

Patting his back with a heavy sigh I smile at him, "Now now, I am married Xiao Zhan and guess you'll be too. So no flirting when it's time to say goodbye." I tease and they all laugh. "I'll miss you all too. He Xuan, it has been a pleasure knowing you. Take care of these two kids for me, alright?"

With a bow he grins and winks, "Yes Yiling Patriarch. I will watch them over for you. Wangji, for when we meet again." He bows.

"Yibo, take care. You have my Lan Zhan in you." He smiles and I could see tears forming in his eyes.

Well in the end I decided not to reveal Oreo's future. For its a journey that they need to take together. Whatever they choose, it's going to be their adventure.

Making my way towards Hua Cheng I smile and even though he sported a grin, his eyes spoke to me. Decades of friendship between us, the emotion of losing your partner and healing for them, we've seen it all. We didn't hug nor spared words. Both of us knew we'll meet again. We have to. We were bonded by fate to be friends.
