Revelation

Lan Zhan's POV:

"Are you ready, Lan Zhan?" Wei enquires and probably this is the very first time in life that I wasn't ready. How could I be when Wei finally revealed his plan. Though Hua Cheng and Xie Lian are confident, I still wasn't. There was a lot to lose and much more to gain. Standing outside Xiao Residency, clutching my hand, with a deep breath he takes a step forward and I as usual follow him.

"Hey! We're back!" He announces with enthusiasm and the reception that we received was with same feeling. Sizhui is the first one to come forward and hug his Elder Patriarch. Following him is Akio, and Oreo jumping into his arms. Walking in a liesure pace, Seiji nods at Wei but comes to stand before me and with a small smile gives me a warm hug. Wei and I both are surprised, but his eyes were glinting with mischief.

"Hey! Hey! That's my husband you know?" Wei grins as Seiji retorts, "Oh? Well then stop leaving him or else I'll make Lan Wangji mine."

Wei Ying has been challenged to many duals in life but never before he had to compete for my attention, probably because our realm is already aware of our sinful affair and shenanigans. This is new to him and me but not the one to back down, Wei simply shrugs and touches his nose, "True. Agreed. I won't leave him, but Lan Zhan can never be yours either."

I inwardly smile at Wei's challenge.

"Oh! Why is that?" Seiji enquires with amusement and Wei simply shrugs, "He won't let you." Turning away he coos into Oreo's ears, "Your dad wants my husband. How about we leave your dad here and you can come with us to Gusu?"

Her eyes sparkle, "Is it beautiful?"

"Not as beautiful as you!" He blows a raspberry and her giggles surrounds us. "Done. I'll come with you." Giving Seiji a smirk, Wei teases him "Your daughter is coming with us."

"Traitor." Seiji breathes out but my eyes were all on Wei Ying. Truly looking ethereal when he's around kids, this man can never stop making me yearn for him. Just then his eyes meets mine and gives me a subtle nod. They're here.

A knock on the door lets Wei Ying and me know that our guests have arrived. "Sizhui, could you go and open the door please?"

"Yes, Hanguang-Jun."

Following Sizhui's footstep was Hua Cheng and Xie Lian.

"What the...?" Trailing his eyes towards Oreo, Seiji bites his lips and closes his eyes remembering his rule not to curse.

"Everyone, I would like you all to meet my brother from a realm another, Hua Cheng and his husband, His Highness, Xie Lian."

"His High... Highness?" Oreo stammers and never before did we realise that she has never met a real prince. Quickly jumping down from Wei's arms she runs towards Xie Lian who crouches and smiles kindly, "Hello there."

Out of the blue she pinches his cheeks and we all hold our breath, "So pretty! How can a prince be pretty?"

With his kind smile in place he cocks his head, "Thank you."

A movement beside Xie Lian catches my eyes and I raise them to look at Hua Cheng shifting closer to his husband.

Hm.

Oreo noticing this also raises her head only to meet a stocky, tall, crimson robe donned man with jet black hair braided to his side and a lone ruby earring adorning his ears.
The room is plunged into silence and only breaks when Oreo exclaims, "I don't like you!"

The retort is quick from the other side too, "Yeah, I don't like you either!"

"Oreo!"

"San Lang!"
