Reunion

Wei Wuxian's POV:

"What are you two doing here?" As much as I am shocked having Sizhui and Akio here in reality it made me even more ecstatic.

"Elder Patriarch!?" Making their way to us Sizhui grins whilst Akio... ahem sorry, JingYi follows him a bit more liesurely.

"Hua Chéngzhǔ?" The man in black cloak calls for his attention. "It's alright. They're known to me." Soon after the assurance is given the man leaves us and I smile, "How come you two are here?"

"I have an answer to your question, Wei Wuxian." From behind He Xuan walks in donning a black green robe and stuffing a hot bun into his mouth, "This is good but not nearly as good as the food in human realm. The moment we go back I need to stock up my house with snacks. Those yummy salted chips, mint ice-cream, chocolate-" stopping He Xuan's rant Hua Cheng sighs, "Can we just focus on this issue? You can go back to eating after you explain this entire scenario!"

"Um!" Gulping down the remaining food he points out towards Sizhui and JingYi, "The moment Xiao Zhan played Chenqing, he opened up portals to three worlds. One is the human realm, one here and other is their world."

"You knew this would happen?" His words surprise me.

"Did I have my doubts? Yes. Was I absolutely sure this would happen? No." Turning to Sizhui, He Xuan questions "What were you doing at the precise moment when you were teleported here?"

"Ai Yi and I were in Elder Patriarch's cave covering his devices and placing things in order when suddenly a portal opened and we were sucked into it. The next moment we opened our eyes and found ourselves in this town. Knowing it had to do something with Elder Patriarch, Ai Yi and I were asking around when that man in black cloak caught and brought us here."

Taking them both in my warm embrace I whisper, "So glad you two are safe." Moving a bit away yet holding them in my arms I ask, "Ai Yi?"

A sweet blush covers both their cheeks, whilst JingYi averts his eyes, Sizhui casts them shyly at him, "I am not used to the name JingYi and couldn't call him Akio. So, we decided to have a nickname."

"Ai Yi?" I tease and their blush deepens, "Ai Yi also means 'Love'. So..."

"Elder Patriarch!" Sizhui's eyes widen and I start laughing. "Alright. Alright. I won't tease but it's good to see you two together."

"Elder Patriarch where is -" before JingYi could question, Wang Yibo yells "Sizhui?"

"Elder Yibo!" Sizhui bows with respect.

"Is that..." Wang Yibo's gaze lands on JingYi, "my brother?" With a small nod from the latter, Wang Yibo is quick in his stride to take JingYi into his arms, "How have you been?"

"Good. Very good. You?"

"Xiao Zhan, why don't you take Wang Yibo, Sizhui and JingYi to the guest chamber? They will get more privacy there for all of you to catch up with eachother." At Hua Cheng's suggestion, Xiao Zhan nods and escorts the small family away.

"Wei Wuxian." Turning towards Hua Cheng I eye him with scepticism, "What?"

There is a moment of silence and I could witness a swirl of emotions within them, but what they are, he never voiced them out. Next second he walks away and the only one to be left behind is Xie Lian, He Xuan and me.

"Don't mind him Wei Wuxian. Trust San Lang. Please." I smile at Xie Lian's words. I do trust him, Your Highness. At times more than myself.

With a kind smile he leaves and I turn to see He Xuan eating with a carefree attitude from a pot. "Is it good?" I ask and he nods. Watching him eat with gusto I laugh and pat his back. Well atleast someone has an appetite.
