Having just gotten back from Hua Cheng's universe I don't think in my entire life I have ever experienced so many emotions and adventure at such short time. If I ever get to meet Mac and Blake, I wonder if they would believe my words that Wang Akio met God and his husband is a Ghost King. That I met my brother and brother-in-law's doppelganger, and above all my life partner is not even from the human realm.
Grinning at that thought I laugh, of course they'll belive me. They'll belive anything I say. A pang of hurt pricks my heart at the realisation that I am no longer Wang Akio and that Blake and Mac would possibly never get to meet me again.
"Ai Yi, what are you doing here?" Turning to look at the soul for whom I left everything behind, beckoning him to take a seat next to me at the steps of Jingshi, I smile "Didn't want to enter Jingshi without you."
To be honest these past couple of months has not been easy on either of us. Having to witness Sizhui lose the ones whom he loved the most, a strange distance metred between us and even though we were together, but it definitely felt more apart.
This is probably the first time that we're sitting and talking. Most of the time he'd either be meditating or out for night hunts. Never once did I feel bad or hurt as I knew his heart was elsewhere and Sizhui was not in his frame of mind, and thus taking a page from Zhan Zhan's book, I learnt to be patient. Waiting for him to approach me when he feels comfortable.

Sizhui's skin was glowing under the moon's radiance and if I don't back out this instant, there is going to be biting and a lot of kissing for which he might not be ready.
Quickly taking few steps away and without turning back to look at him I stammer, "Need... to take... bath. Meet you ... Soon." Sprinting towards the Cold Pool I immerse myself in there quickly to calm my fucking heat down.
"Ai Yi," hearing him whisper my name I break the water surface only to take a step back and gasp at the closeness between us. When did Sizhui enter the pool? Dripping wet his white Gusu robes were now translucent.
Slowly raising his hand he cups my cheeks and very gently places a chaste kiss on my lips, "Sorry Ai Yi. I made you wait for so long. All I did was think about my feelings and not yours. I am-" unable to hear his apology I place another not so chaste kiss on his lips, "Don't. Never apologise Ah Yuan. I am here only for you. What you feel just let me know, even if it means that at times you don't wish to see my face, I'll gladly accept that."
Threading our fingers together he pulls me out of the sacred pool and my gaze rovers his body lustily. Ah Yuan's clothes were now stuck to every contour of his body. Halting in front of Jingshi, turning to me he recites his oath, "From now on and forever I am yours and yours only. Having seen my fathers pledge their lives to eachother, today I, Ah Yuan pledge my life to you Ai Yi. I love you."
Unable to stay still I kiss him deep and next second scoop him in my arms and enter Jingshi. Walking towards our bedroom I gently place Ah Yuan on the bed and proceed to remove our wet robes.
Fingers caressing his sacred forehead band I open the bedside chest to place them when a rattle sound perks our ears and we together look at the contents inside. "Is that...?" Bewildered at its presence, I take out a letter beside the box and read it out.

Laughing at sneaky Elder Patriarch, I eye the band and raise my eyebrows at Ah Yuan. "Want to try it out?"
