Wang Yibo's POV:
"Papa!"
We both turn to see a young boy following Oreo while her small hand is clasping his.
"This is my boyfriend, Luca. Isn't he cute?" At that the young boy's cheek surely turned red. Great. Even a kid is more forthcoming than I.
"No he isn't your boyfriend Oreo, and please let him go. His parents are going to be worried." Crouching in front of them, Xiao Zhan though was polite, yet his words could not be refuted.
"He is. I asked Luca if he could be my boyfriend and he agreed!" Damn. How is it that we always land up in such situations?
"Kid," turning to Luca, Xiao Zhan enquires "did you agree to be my Oreo's boyfriend?" He on the other hand could only blink and a second later nod shyly.
"Do you even know what a boyfriend is?" This was directed towards Oreo who very enthusiastically nods, "Yes! They hold hands and share popsicles!"
Oh dear heart! It's a good thing that Seiji isn't around or else we would all have been murdered by a raging father.
Laughing insincerely at the situation in front of us, I try my best to difuse the matter quickly, "Oreo, why don't you accompany me to the Icecream store and we'll buy some for all of us?" Nodding with the same enthusiasm as before, she takes the lead and it does not go unnoticed by both of us that apparantly Luca has decided to follow his girlfriend.
"I am not liking this!" Xiao Zhan's glare is lethal and with every passing time my heart felt bad for the kid in front of me.
"Can you let this slide? He's just a kid! They won't even remember eachother. Two steps there," pointing at the shop I continue, "we'll give him an icecream and he'll go back to his parents. Please don't let this spoil your mood."
"How can you be so lethargic?" Huffing his glare becomes even more intense, "No one and I mean no one can come near that kid. She's so innocent. No boy is worthy of her. No girl is worthy of her. No one is. She is an angel. Always will be!"
Oh my! At this rate it seems she won't ever be able to date anyone!
"Aren't you being tad bit overprotective? She is just five, Mr. Frost. You can't always be this way. One day she will grow up and bring her partner home. What are you going to do then?" I challenge him and as expected he refrains from backing down, "Then I will hunt her partner and questions them incessantly until they admit to straight away marrying her!"
