Forced Love

Chapter 24 Guardians

 Charlie was about to slap Alice but I jumped in and stopped her by getting hit myself. She had a really strong hand and I cringed a bit and I noticed Charlie held up her hand with a horrified expression, totally different from my mom.

  "I'm so sorry!" she said to me. I only nodded and held my hand to the aching cheek and turned back around to Alice.

  "Why'd you do that?" Alice asked pretty surprised that I jumped in for her.

  "Don't be stupid, I only did it to keep Charlie out of trouble, don't think I did it for you." I said turning back on the Alice Court. I think my cheek was swelling a bit, I cringed as I touched it, yeah it was swelling.

  "Let's get you to the nurse." Andrew said holding my shoulder and glaring at the Alice Court, before we did I turned once more to the Alice Court and the Guardians. 

  "You need to figure out yourself." I said, no one directly but they all needed to get over themselves and all. We're in high school, not in a movie, but if this was how it was going to be then I guess I might as well be prepared. Nick came over from a corner and escorted me over to the nurse, I guess he saw but didn't know what to do. Well at least he wasn't like those bickering idiots, Klaude had passed by us then followed us  knowing there would be a story to this. We came to the nurse and the nurse had questioned me how this happen.

  "I fell and there was a really heavy object there." I lied. Once the nurse put a big bandage over my cheek and left to do something it was just me, Klaude and Nick.

  "What happened?" Klaude questioned to Nick.

  "Uh-"

  "Nothing happened, it was about to but I stopped it." I said leaning on the bed frame.

  "Nick." Klaude demanded, unsatisfied with my answer, "What happened?" Nick hesitated on answering but I just waved my hand indicating him just to spill.

  "Charlie was being provoked and was about to start a fight." he quickly said. Klaude sighed puting his hands to his head and sighed deeply once again.

  "We need to stop this child play."

  "It's not entirely there fault, they shouldn't have to be talked like trash." I said somewhat defiantly. It's not entirely there fault, I realize that we were a part of it but that doesn't mean you provoke anyone out of your hearts content.

  "You have to realize something Katie, we're in the eleventh grade, we shouldn't be acting like this." he said with a bit of agression.

  "I realize this, we have to do something Klaude." We had to stop all this bickering, it was getting a bit annoying. We came to the Rose Garden and they were there, the twins were the first ones to come see if I was okay. I shook them off and I saw Charlie, she looked like she was in some sort of a trance.She looked up at me and she started to bawl, I noticed her eyes were red so she must have been crying before.

  "I'm so sorry, I was provoked and I-" she started but I cut her off.

  "We have got to stop this fued."

  "We are the Guardians of this school, we can't be doing this anymore." Klaude said folding his arms.

  "I know." Charlie whispered. I took a deep sigh and everyone had there heads arched down, we had to do something to stop this little feud or else something may happen like today, or even worse.
