I came by a hall that I didn't know about, it was pretty big, I think I was lost. I looked my way and I heard a piano playing, it was a beautiful melody. Guess this was the band hall or something, I came across to where the sound was coming from. I suddenly had my hands in the air as if I was playing it. I was startled a bit until I saw who had come out, it was Adam and these other people.
"Hey, Katie." Good I'm so glad he didn't tell him about the fiancee thing.
"Is this your fiancee?" One tall blonde boy said coming out.
"Oh, she's a keeper." said another, oh great more twins to tell from.
"Great way to keep a secret, Adam." I said. He just smirked, "I only told these two so don't go off on me." He went to pat my head but I slapped his arm away. "Don't touch me." I sneered. He put his hands up in surrender and started laughing while the other two just followed him with amused looks.
"She's fiesty, nothing like the other girls you've had." One of them said. I just scoffed, I looked inside the room and there was a beautiful elegant grand piano just sitting there. I lightly touched the piano and my insides started shivering. It was so cold but it shined brightly. I sat down on the chair and started playing a melody. I didn't know what the song was called but I remembered it well. It went on like this, repeating it with the chorus, the harmony entwined with the melody.
"Beautiful melody there." John said from behind, I stopped playing and nodded. He sat next to me and pressed a key and it made a very sweet tone.
"Used to play piano did you?" he asked.
"Yeah, there was this melody that's stuck in my head before I started playing the piano so I begged my parents for me to play piano but then it all stopped."
"What do you mean stopped? Did you quit piano?"
"Something like that." I said grimly, he nodded and didn't ask anymore. Alex came in and told us to go to the garden to discuss plans.
"So, we need to host the annual dance." Alex said cheerfully. They all started to groan. "Nobody ever goes thhough so I doubt they'll go this year." Andrew said.
"Besides, having the Guardians plan it makes it sound bad." Charlie huffed.
"Come on, maybe this year will change." he said.
"I highly doubt that considering the Alice Court doesn't go then none of them do." Klaude said. Nick just grunted in response.
"Well we have to try." Alex complained.
"There's just no point in it King." John said with his hands behind his head. "I mean if the Alice Court says don't go they don't go."
"Let's change that then." Alex said.
"No point." Nick said.
"Well let's give it a try anyway, I mean we have nothing to lose after all." I said. They all turned to me, this was the first time I ever said anything at a meeting.
"Yeah but we need the money and if no one comes then it would be a waste of time."
"Well doesn't anyone have friends? Just tell them to come and the Alice Court won't know." I said.
"Yeah but what if someone tells the Alice Court?" Charlie asked.
"Then we'll enjoy it ourselves, it's all about having fun right? What's the theme?" They all shrugged, guess they didn't know what kind of theme yet.
"How about a fall formal, it's pretty simple isn't it?" I suggested.
"Guess that could work." John said.
"But we're supposed to gain money from this." Andrew said.
"The school is already rich so what more do we need?" I retorted. They all nodded, and I think I got it going.
"What abou the theme?" Nick asked.
"Well it's a fall formal so let's just make it bright, we could put some lanterns to brighten the room a bit." I said.
"Yeah, this might actually be fun." Alex grinned, he smiled at me, it almost looked like he was thanking me. I shrugged and just grinned at all the anticipating faces. Maybe this wasn't so bad after all, I guess this was all right.
