Well if the day when I went to Adam's house wasn't awkward for me, this was definitely awkward. Adam had no idea why I was mad but I stayed far away from him as I could and just had fun with little Claire. I left almost immediately with my brother after that dinner. The very next day was a bit more interesting.

"What?! Why would you put me into this Katie?"

  "Will you calm down Alise?"

"Calm down? You just put me together with the guy that has known me for years and still sided with Charlotte."

"I thought you didn't have beef with the both of them anymore."

"I never said I had any beef with Alex it's just I haven't really talked to him in so long."

"Well now you can Alise. You really need to think through with this advantage."

"Advantage? Did he even say he wanted me there?" I kind of paused, "See, I knew it. He's never known that I've liked him and I highly doubt he would even consider me as a girl."

"Why would you say that? You dress pretty cool. It's like punk rock and girly." She laughed a bit.

"Well I just don't think he would see me as that kind of girl."

"Come on don't sell yourself short." Alise just rolled her eyes at me and instead I just smiled. "Come on now, it's time to have a good time. Maybe even score a dance." she arched her eyebrows at me. We were both in beautiful dresses, made to impress but not take the gaze off the bride. We were in the car and I kept getting constant texts from Adam.

  "Why aren't you answering?"

"You wouldn't believe me if I told you so."

"Try me, after all I did steal my twin's identity." I had a moment of time to think about it.

"Perception is a burden. You can take it in multiple ways that one can possibly imagine. Lies hide that perception and soon as time let it, it will become the truth."

  "Meaning?"

"I'm starting to lose my faith in many people." I laughed softly. "It seems as though trust is my weak point."

"I seem to recall it as your strong point."

"Enlighten me in this because I certainly don't see it as a strong point."

"Katie, you put trust in people nobody would ever think of putting their faith in. It's weird though, you never see a person like that nowadays."

"What exactly are you implying Alise?"

"You have the personality to change someone. It's in your heart which is a bit unexpected." Alise then made a face, "Dear God, I sound as if I'm a freaking fairy godmother." I laughed a bit.

"Well today it's just going to be me, Alex and you. Let’s just party and let loose."

"Finally, I can see what kind of party animal you are."

"It's still day outside, don't get your hopes up."

"Oh the great Katie and her sweet innocence taken down by drinks."

"I think I'll pass on that." We're there and we're greeted, well I'm greeted by the most unexpected person ever.

"Hey Kitty Kat, you look so very dashing."

"John, I didn't know you were going to be here."

"You don't know a lot of things Kitty Kat."
