"So you're thinking about going to London?" Alise said as we were walking around the halls.

"That is what I'm thinking about. I need to find answers and discover the truth."

"Bit of a detective are we?" she sneered.

"This really isn't a funny matter."

"I know it's not, I just don't think you should get caught up in it just yet."

"Well if it isn't Katie my love." Damon said coming up behind me.

"What do you want?"

"Well the principal wants to see us." He said.

"Really? What for?" Alise asked.

"Beats me, anyway if you'll excuse us little rabit." he said towards Alise.

"I'm not a rabit!" They were fighting like 5 year olds and to be honest, it was a bit entertaining.

"Well, are we going or not?" I asked.

"Yes, I don't want to be with barbie here." That might have hit a nerve but we went away before Alise could rant.

"So, where are we really going?" I asked him.

"We are needed in the principal's office but not for another hour."

"So why lie?"

"I heard you might be going to London, or at least that's what I've heard."

"And who did you hear this from?"

"I have my sources."

"And, why is it your business?"

"Listen, I orginally came to London but a certain company wanted me to come here for a while."

"Why?"

"That's something for me to know and for you to keep your nose out." I scoffed, he was really maddening. "Anyway, I'm just saying that if you are, you should be prepared."

"And why's that?"

"I've seen the way the people work there, they manipulate and they will use every second to crush you."

"Lucky for me, I'm not that easy to crush." I said smiling.

"This isn't something you should be joking around with."

"You think I'm joking around? Since the day that guy tried to injure or maybe even kill me, it opened my eyes that I have to face this head on. If you weren't there, I'd been dead but I want to protect as many people as I can without them getting hurt for me."

"Are you sure you're ready for this?"

"I don't know, but I'm not going to let someone tarnish my family."

"If you're sure, but are you really serious."

"Don't be such a drag, besides, I don't make my decision until Spring Break."

"That's already half of the school year."

"And? I can just do private lessons."

"What about my brother?"

"For someone who hates Adam, you do seem to care for him." He blushed a little and I giggled. "That's the only thing that's keeping me here, Adam."

"Hmph, of course it is. It'll always be Adam."

"You have no idea what you're talking about." I said sharply.

"Oh, do I? He abandoned me and his other brother. How can you defend him?"
