"Hey, they haven't found them yet?" I asked as Moose was hurrying with my make up and I was checking this dress. If we couldn't find Charlie, I would have to go in for her, I couldn't let us lose the bet now. We were risking everything and I wasn't about to let us lose. The sparkles were elegantly placed on my hair and flowed through it as I taped the design together. Mace, Luke, Klaud, Nick, Andrew, John, Dylan and Cole were looking through the maze of classes for them. I wondered if they were locked somewhere. I didn't think they would ever stoop this low as to steal our sketch and now steal the contestants.

"You ready or what?" a masked man came out. It was Adam in his attire and all. He was actually quite captivating as I looked through the mirror. I wondered if he was even more mesmerizing as he did in the reflection. I didn't want to turn to him, to show that I actually had a weakness to show. In truth I have so many weaknesses but I try to cover them up because I can't bear the sympathy. I finish putting the touches on the wig and put on the mask. I guess Charlie put on the dress before she disappeared so I had to wear that extravagant black dress, Mace is really fast on wheels, surprised he didn't get a ticket. I stood up and he was already behind me, he looked at me through the wall of glitters and touched my face. I froze dead when he did and he tipped the butterfly mask to the left just a bit.

"It was crooked." he whispered which made my body shiver down to the feet. It scared me how imtimidating he was making me, how could he do this and not even flinch? He went to the other side of the stage like he was supposed to as I just stood there still shivering. I snapped back into the dark reality and Alice and Carter were on stage. He held her hand as if loving her but I knew a boy's true intention, he was thinking of Charlie. I honestly didn't think he should have done that, it woudl have hurt Alice and Charlie.

I zoned out as they quickly ended with them hugging and doing a kiss but it was a quick kiss with them confessing they've always liked each other. It was now my turn, I had Charlie and Alex practice over and over and Adam was there to be annoying. The lights turned off and it was my cue and his to come out and let the trail shine behind us. I looked at him and turned away not because of what the script had made us follow but because I was truly scared to be lost in his soft yet mysterious eyes. He was about to touch me but I recoiled from it, I was scared that I was going to freeze, it was as if the script was telling me that I would do this. John had a knack at predicting emotions I have to admit. He looked at me and gave off a sad smile and wawlked off, Charlie was supposed to hold onto his shirt as he turned around but instead I did something else.

"Stop." He freezes instead of turning like a typical boy would do, "I'm sorry, it's weird since you kissed my hand and I Idon't know." I say from the actual script.

"What do you mean?" he asks not even turning.

"I don't know, you make me forget about everything, you make me want to look at you all the time and I just can't, because I know I'll be weak and break because I'm falling for you." I said lowering my head and looking at the ground.

"Then fall for me, I won't break you." There was silence and he let out an aggravted breath. "I love you." I looked up slowly and stared at his back. "I love you." he said once again. He started to leave and I tried to walk after him but with the heels and the dress, I tripped but he suddenly turned and helped me up but not before he looked into my eyes. My hands were entwined with his and he held them up and looked at them before he looked back at me. He lowered his lips and I closed my eyes as they connected. The lights were turned off but our lips were still connected and the curtains connected. We both snapped back into reality and I turned my face so he wouldn't see me. I know he was staring at me and he let out a long sigh and got up. He held out his hand and I took it but I didn't look into his eyes.

"Katie!" I whipped my head to see Charlie panting. I rushed over to her to see if she was okay. "Where were you?"

"Someone had asked me and Alex to be interviewed and Alex recognized them from the newspaper club so he thought it was harmless. We thought they were really going to ask them for questions but instead they locked us up on the roof. Andrew was the one that found us and kicked the door to the roof down."

"Where's Alex?" I asked.

"He's in the nurses office, when we were pushed in there we were trying to get out but the stupid buffs punched him. All he has is a bleeding nose, you can check on him."

"I'm sure he's fine." Adam said harshly as he brushed past us.

"Ignore him, we both had to fill in for you if that's okay." She nodded and I took off the glittery stuff and went back to Alex. Jace was fixing him up a bit and I was relieved he was okay. "Hey, you seem out of breath." Alex chuckled.

"Are you okay? Does it hurt do we need to go to the hospital?"

"Slow down, no I don't it's just a few scratches on my arm and my nose was bleeding that's all."

"Yep and now there gone." Jace said getting up from the nurse's chair. "He's gonna be okay, now we need to go see the scores."

"Right, heard Adam took over for me, remind me to thank him." he laughed as we rushed to see the results. Charlie was shivering and I held her shoulder, she was still shaky so Alex held her hand. They looked at each other and they were ready to face it. It's time they were to move on and face reality, I hoped they get the results they were looking for this feud was finally going to have an end.

"The winnders are....." the announcer paused and the annoying drums went on.

"The Royal Court."
