"The thing Charlie didn't tell you was Alice had a sister, a twin one at that. I am Alice's sister, Alise like Elise except you say it with an 'A'."
"What does this have to do with anything?" I asked.
"Let me finish the story."
"Just sip your coffee and listen." Adam said in my ear.
"Well you can start." I said.
"Very well, it started when all three of them including Adam and I."
"Ah, yeah I think I remembered you, you always liked being alone, and one day you just moved. Your sister stayed but she didn't say anything." Adam said.
"Anyway-" Alise said quickly. "For a few years you three grew up, Carter and Charlotte grew to have feelings for each other."
"Yes, she told me they started dating when they got to middle school." I chimed.
"The thing was, that Charlotte was to stupid to see until later was Alice liked Carter also. Alice always told me, but then one day our parents just yelled at each other. This had been going on, Adam do you remember anything different about Alice in middle school?"
"Yeah, she was a bit more quiet than she usually was."
"That was because, she was being bullied and our parents were going to have a divorce, I was going to be taken away from my sister and when I found out she was being bullied, I couldn't do anything. I was all the way in New Orleans because I wanted to go to a boarding school and they had one there. The reason she was bullied because she was quiet, and easy, all the girls hated her because other boys thought she was pretty cute. She didn't care because there was one boy that was never going to be hers. We called each other every day and I was trying to comfort her then one day I never got a call for her nor did she ever answer. For the next few days she avoided my calls, until finally she picked one up. It was weird at first. We were talking how we wished we could see each other again but then she answered my question very eerily."
"What was the question?" Adam asked.
"What would happen if our parents got back together again."
"How did she answer?" I asked, but I felt the answer was too painful.
"I would die." She said.
"What did you do right after that?" I asked.
"She turned up a new conversation, I didn't understand why until one day I called her and I got an answer from my mom. That was the day I forced my dad to order a plane ticket and take us to them on our private jet."
"Did Alice die?"
"No, she tried to, she tried drowning herself until a maid came in and rescued her."
"Was she admitted to a hospital?" I asked.
"Yes, when we got there father and mother went to take care of some business as in make sure nobody would know about this. Those bitches, anyway as they were doing that Alice woke up and I was right there beside her. She said something to me that made me lose all hope, all despair."
"What did she say?" Adam asked.
"I will never forgive you."
"Why would she say that, it seems you guys had a bond so why would she say that." I'm being a hypocrite, my own sister didn't want me in the house anymore.
"It was all in her diary, at first I thought she was imagining me as someone else and yet some of my feelings that I tried to hide came back."
"What kind of feelings?"
