Chapter 60 Reunited

  I'm at the airport with Adam waiting for Elliot to come down. Kevin is going to run it up in London. He has his arms wrapped around me and I don't care, everyone already knows we're fiancés.

  "So tell me again why your brother is coming?"

  "He needs to be up here as head and he also wants to see me." He scrounges at my face as I said those last few words. "Are you being jealous?"

  "How can I not? You're going to spend as much time with him as possible."

  "Come on, you could do the same. Tell Damon everything and have this done with."

  "You know why I can't."

  "I know it's just I hate to see Damon tearing you apart for something you did for him."

  "I can't have it besides just knowing that he's safe is okay enough for me." I kissed him on the lips and we continued.

  "So this is how you spend your time when I'm not around or Kevin?" Elliot suddenly piped up. I got off of Adam's lap and ran straight to Elliot.

  "Ooh, it's so good to finally see you face to face."

  "You too little sister, you too." he smiled.

   "I want to spend as much time with you as I can."

  "So you easily let a brother you haven't known for a long time and let him spend time with you." Adam said. We turned to him with me having one arm around Elliot and his arm around me.

   "Stop being jealous Adam."

  "Am not." I rolled my eyes at his childish behavior and Elliot laughed.

  "He's exactly like Kevin when he doesn't get what he wants." We helped Elliot get into the car and drove down to Grandfather. Elliot wanted to see him first and talk to him about a few investments and maybe a few other things that they didn't want me to know about. I'm out of the room getting some coffee for me and so is Adam.

  "Tomorrow is school."

  "Yeah, more sadistic torture from my enemies."

  "Who are your enemies?"

  "Let's see, definitely Kara, sometimes Damon to get to you and definitely the other girls?"

  "Other girls?"

  "Half the girls had you on there list of husbands to capture but now that I have you, they think that if they get close to me they can get close to you." I said sipping some coffee.

  "And you'll probably put up a fight to make sure they stay the hell away from me because you love me." I didn't say anything and he just kept teasing me saying I didn't deny it. He was right though, I would put up a fight. I don't know if I'm falling for him out of love or just because of the moments but I'm not giving him up especially to Kara.

  "You haven't talked to Kara at all have you?"

  "No, is there any reason I should talk to my ex?" he said quickly.

  "Well let's just say she's confident in getting you back."

  "Well you can tell her she's wrong." I had a theory that if they were in a room together and that she was going to tell him whatever lies he would go right back to her but then again what did I know about love? Eventually they will face each other and who knows.

  "Are you Miss Katie?" A doctor asked.

  "Yes, what is it?"

  "I'm your grandfather's doctor and I think it's safe to say that your grandfather can get out in about a weeks."
