Same day (Raizada mansion)

Arnav reached home after work that evening and saw his dad waiting for him sitting in the Living room. Arnav was about to move to his room when Arav stopped him..

Arav: wait Arnav.. I need to talk to you..

He came and sat next to his dad on the couch..

Arav: Arnav.. I know that you are mature enough to make your own decisions.. But looking at your past flings I need to ask you about this marriage decision of yours.. Arnav nodded understanding.. He knew what his dad was trying to ask him..

Arnav: I know what you are trying to ask dad.. Whether I'm serious about Khushi or it's just an attraction which will last a few day or months, right?

Arav: yeah.. I don't want you to ruin her life Arnav..

Arnav: I won't dad.. Trust me..  I won't deny that I'm attracted to her.. But I want her by my side forever.. And I'll never ever leave her no matter what..

That's it.. that was the only thing Arav wanted to hear from his son.. That he will never leave Khushi.. he got up and hugged his son.. he was truly happy today..

Arav: I'm proud of you son.. I will call Shashi and talk to him about the wedding..

Arnav: yeah..

Arnav felt nice too sharing his feeling with his dad.. He moved to his room and his dad left back to his room to call Shashi..

Arnav was in his room talking on the Phone asking Aman to let the media know that he is getting married next week. After all this was the much awaited news for them. Maya who had heard the father son talk was fuming.. she came to Arnav room wanting to talk to him.. Arnav saw his mom and kept the call..

Maya: chote.. What you are doing is wrong..

Arnav: mom.. if this is concerning my wedding with Khushi.. then please.. i don't wish to discuss it..

Maya: why chote? What has she done to you in few days that you are ready to go against your own mothers wish..   

Arnav: mom please..

maya: Arnav.. Don't marry her.. Please.. I don't want this..

Arnav: I am sorry Mom.. But this time our WANTS don't match.. I am getting married to her. And this is final.. And in case you still try my patience.. I would make sure I leave this house after the wedding.. You accept it or not.. I don't care..

He said that and then moved out of the house.. Maya was really angry.. She never knew her son would slip from her hands for that khushi.. She didn't like that.. She moved back to her room in anger..

Arnav reached home that evening and saw his sister and Nani already there.. he entered and sat beside Anjali..

Nani: chote.. Me Arav and Anjali had been to meet Shashi and Garima today afternoon.. We have decided that the actual marriage would be next week. We will start with the other traditions like Mehndi, Haldi and sangeet this weekend..

Arnav: Yeah nani.. The sooner the better..
