Part 29

Khushi looked at Maya confused and seeing her mother in law winking at her.. She understood that she was teasing Arnav and hence she remained silent..

Arnav: what the!!

Maya and Garima smiled inwardly seeing his reaction and Arnav turned to Khushi..

Arnav: you going to your parent's house?

Garima: yes Arnav.. Actually we all are missing her a lot.. so we thought of taking her with us just for tonight.. she'll be back tomorrow morning.. right, khushi?

khushi nodded and Arnav looked at Khushi in a bit anger for planning to leave him alone tonight.. Before he could say anything they were all called by payal as the pooja was starting any minute... the pooja started with khushi seating in the first row in between Anjali and payal.. while Arnav sat opposite to her with shyam and Akash.. All this while he had his eyes on her.. khushi noticed him staring at her in a bit anger.. she knew the reason of his anger but chose to ignore him for now.. The pooja was finally over.. Arnav tried talking to her but she was busy with distributing prasad or talking to the guests.. Not being able to talk to her he moved to his room in anger..

1 hour later...

Arnav was Pacing in his room in anger... she was planning to leave him alone and go to her mayka? how dare she? here he was dying to spend time with her and she was planning to leave him alone... damn it! He's not going to leave her..

The pooja was over and all the guests had finally left.. The only remaining were Gupta's.. they were staying for dinner... the dinner was served and Khushi was asked to call Arnav... she moved to their room.. She knew he was angry.. She had seen him moving to their room not being able to talk to her.. She wanted to follow him and tell him that it was just a joke and she's not going anywhere but she got busy in meeting the guests and helping with the pooja things... finally now she can tell him.. With that thought in mind she moved to their room.. The moment she entered in she was pinned to the door..

Arnav: (gritting his teeth) you're not going.. You get that?

khushi: Arnav I..

Arnav: I said you're not going...

khushi wanted to tell him that she wasn't going.. his mom was kidding but she liked seeing him so possessive for her and thought of playing along for a while...

Khushi: Arnav.. it's just for one night.. My parents are missing me.. They need to spend some time with me..

Arnav: (pinning her more.. his face inches away from hers) I don't care.. I can't let you leave me and go,  okay?

the word "LEAVE ME" touched her heart.. She could see how much he loved her.. She knew she can't lie to him anymore...

Khushi: Arnav..

Arnav: you're not going and that's final...

Khushi: mom was kidding Arnav.. I'm not going anywhere...

Arnav: (surprised) what?

Arnav left her hands and Khushi cupped his face..

khushi: (Smiling) yeah.. Mom was teasing you... she was talking about the prasad packing... I'm not going anywhere...

Arnav: then why dint you tell me?

Khushi: I liked seeing you so possessive.. So thought of playing along...

Arnav: what the!

He looked at her in a bit anger for teasing him and she giggled...

Arnav: you were having fun seeing me teased, weren't you?

khushi nodded giggling...

Arnav: (smirking) laugh as much as you can... but who is going to save you from me now?

Saying that he started moving towards her and she ran out of the room to the hall with Arnav running after her... she reached the stairs and before she could run down Arnav got hold of her and carried her to their room... Khushi struggled to get out of his hold..

Khushi: Arnav leave me..

Arnav: no ways..

Khushi: Arnav...

Khushi kept struggling but Arnav dint m put her down.. Finally reaching their room he placed her on the ground... she immediately tried to move out but he dint let her.. He caught her waist not letting her move...

Arnav: where do you think you are going?

Khushi: Arnav.. I had come to call you for dinner... we should go down...

Arnav: no.. it's payback time Khushi..

Khushi: Arnav.. Everyone is waiting for us down.. What will they think?

Arnav: I don't care..

Khushi: Arnav please...

Arnav: Fine..

He left her and she smiled.. They both then moved to have dinner with the rest of the family... they sat opposite to each other.. The dinner passed with Arnav and Khushi both Sharing glances.. The dinner was over and the Gupta's left..

Arnav was in his room sitting on his recliner working when Khushi finally entered after helping the ladies in the Kitchen... she smiled at him and he smiled back.. She moved to the mirror and started removing her bangles and other jewellery...

khushi: Arnav I'm joining office tomorrow...

Arnav: hmm.. I've brought the Raichands file.. we need to sign it...

He said still working on the laptop..

khushi: yeah.. lemme just change and be back..

Arnav: yeah..

khushi moved into the bathroom and changed into her pink nighty with pink rob on it.. She had Brought such night dresses with her but hadn't wore them all these days as she wasn't comfortable wearing them in front of Arnav... but now she dint mind.. she dint want to keep any barriers between them.. she was a bit nervous going out like this.. The nighty though was long it was sleevless and had deep neck both at the front and back.. But she had wore its matching robe on it.. so it was not revealing at all... taking a deep breath She moved out to see Arnav still working on sitting on the recliner.. He had his back to her...

she stood near the bathroom thinking how to go in front of him.. Arnav felt her presence and turned his face to see her standing nervously in the pink nighty.. And no doubt he was mesmerized.. his wife was so beautiful... though she was fully covered in the robe.. he couldn't help but think what she must be wearing inside that robe.. He knew if he kept on staring at her he might lose his control.. so he started conversing normally not wishing to make her more nervous...

Arnav: let's get done with the deal..

khushi nodded and Arnav got up with file to move to the bed so that they both can sit comfortably and sort out the deals figures... khushi too moved to the bed.. They both sat on the bed with their backs to the headboard and started working on the figures..

Arnav could see that khushi was quiet good with business... he was sure she would be great help to her dad's business.. Khushi too could see that what the media used to say was totally true..  Arnav was best at everything and no one could beat him in business.. Not even she.. She was proud to be his wife...

Few minutes passed and Arnav was trying his level best to not look at her down or else he would surely lose his senses... Khushi on the other hand was much more comfortable.. she was nervous on how Arnav would react seeing her in this nighty but seeing him so normal gave her the needed courage.. Finally after one hour of solving the figures the work was done and the deal was ready to be signed by them the next day..

Arnav got up to leave the files on the coffee table when suddenly he felt a sudden pain in his back and he groaned... he had felt this pain twice before too.. Khushi noticed this and got up from the bed worried and moved to him..

Khushi: Arnav.. You okay?

Arnav nodded still in pain.. khushi took him to the bed and made him sit on it and she kneeled in front of him..
