Part 42

The flight was at 8:30am and the reporting time was 7:45am.. it was time to leave for the airport and Arnav was still not down.. khushi had checked on him.. he was asleep.. she had felt him tossing and turning at night till 2am and hence she knew why he was sleeping till late.. she was glad that he was still sleeping or else he wouldn't let her go to Mumbai..

Maya asked khushi about Arnav and was informed that he was still sleeping.. Not wanting to disturb him.. Arav, Mama, Nani and Mami and Akash left for the airport in one car and khushi, maya, payal, shyam, Anjali and dadi were just about to leave in the other car when they heard Arnav from top of the stairs..

Arnav: khushi..

Everyone stopped and Turned hearing him.. They could see He had straight come down after waking up.. he hadn't even freshened up yet.. khushi looked at him nervously.. she knew now he won't let her go so easily.. Maya saw him coming down the stairs and moved to him..

Maya: chote.. you woke up.. Good.. we were just leaving for the Airport..

Arnav was just looking at khushi..

maya: take care of yourself and have your medicines on time.. you should have joined too.. im not liking to leave you alone..

Arnav: (looking at khushi in a bit anger) im not alone mom.. khushi is there with me..

Everyone looked at him confused..

maya: what? but khushi is coming with us, right?

Arnav: no.. she isnt.. she's staying with me..

khushi: no.. im going to Mumbai..

Arnav: (mad) no you're not..

khushi looked at him irritated..

Arnav: (to the family) you guys start for the Airport.. and dont worry.. Me and khushi will be here..

Everyone nodded..

Arnav: hp.. unload khushi's bag from the car..

Hp: ji bhaiya..

khushi: (fuming) No.. im going too Arnav..

She said that and started walking to the door and Arnav clenched his fist.. he was starting to lose his patience now.. his wife was hell bent on provoking the devil in him..

Arnav: (gritting his teeth) don't you dare step out of that door khushi!

khushi stopped hearing that for a second and then moved out not bothering to even turn back..

And that was the last straw.. Arnav's nostrils flared.. boiling in anger and throwing his mobile away he followed her out..

khushi had just reached outside the house when Arnav reached her and carrying her in his Arms moved back in.. khushi started hitting him and struggling.. Arnav didnt listen a word from her.. He moved in and started walking up the stairs with khushi in his arms..

The family members were watching tje scene in front of them with anxiety and confusion.. not understanding what to say or do..

Maya: chote what are...

before maya could finish her sentence Arnav stopped at the stairs and turned to his mom..

Arnav: start for the Airport or else you'll miss your flight.. I need to be alone with my wife..

He said that and moved to his room.. khushi was mad at him.. how dare he order her around and carry her like this.. that too in front of his family..

The family understood that they shouldn't intrude the couples privacy but were worried too..

Maya: im worried.. I think we should cancel the trip..
