Chapter 2: Train

Lee's POV

I woke up in the RV, Kenny was still driving it. Carley was next to me sleeping. I look over to see Clem, Y/N, and Duck sleeping as well. Carley then woke up.

Carley: Hey Lee.

Lee: Hey Carley.

Carley: What a night it was last night.

Lee: I can't believe Lilly tried killing you.

Carley: I can't believe it either. But you saved me. So thank you for that.

Lee: Of course.

We were about to kiss.

Kenny: Got something up ahead.

I stood up and walked to the front.

Kenny: Dammit, roads blocked.

It was a train.

Kenny: Now we gotta deal with this.

Kenny stops the RV. Everyone wakes up and we all get outside.

Ben: Is there anyway to get around it?

Kenny: Doesn't look like it. On foot, maybe. Can't really afford to do that now.

Lee: This seems like a safe area. All this brush will stop anything from creeping up on us.

Duck, Clem, and Y/N was looking at McKenzie. Katjaa was carrying her. She did not look good.

Ben: Why don't you and I look around?

Lee: Yeah, everyone else relax. Clem, Y/N, Duck, stay close to Kenny, Kat, and Carley, okay?

Katjaa: Lee, if you come across anything to drink, if there's a dining car or something, I think McKenzie's a bit dehydrated.

Kenny: It's a freighter, hon. Be careful in there.

Lee: What, you think there might be something dangerous inside of an abandoned iocomotive? Hadn't crossed my mind.

Carley's POV

Lee and Ben then left, sooner the train started, so Kenny went inside. Duck was with Katjaa and McKenzie. Y/N and Clem were talking.

Clementine: Hey Y/N?

Y/N: Yeah Clem?

Clementine: Should we have left Lilly?

Y/N: Yeah, she tried to kill Carley.

Carley: That's right. It would be to dangerous to keep her around.

We saw an old man walking towards us.

Carley: Get behind me!

I pull out my gun and aim at the old man. Y/N stood next to me as he got his gun out too. Clem was hiding behind him.

Carley's thoughts: This kid is tough.

Old man: Whoa easy there, I come in peace.

Y/N: Stay there! Who are you?!

Old man: Names Chuck, I got food for y'all, this is also my train.

We then put down our guns as he gave the kids food.

Y/N: This is good!

Clementine: Yeah!

Lee then walked to us.

Clementine: You met Chuck!

Lee: Yeah... I did.

Katjaa: It's nice to meet someone normal for a change.

Clementine: He gave us candy. Ben, too!

Lee: Welcome.

Chuck: Thank ya.

Lee: You met Kenny?

Chuck: Sure did. Man shares my love for the road.

Lee: That's for curtain.

McKenzie then started coughing.

Chuck: I'm awfully sorry your daughter's not feeling good.

Katjaa: I appreciate your concern.

Chuck: Well, with a little TLC I'm sure she'll be fit as a fiddle in no time. And I can offer ya'll whatever I got, although it ain't much.

Katjaa: Thank you... we'd like to do the same.

Kenny: Why don't we hold off on...

Katjaa: Stay with us, we'd like the company.

Chuck then started playing the guitar.

Kenny: We don't have much left, so just gather whatever you have. Let's go.

Kenny then looks at Chuck.

Kenny: Want a ride?

Chuck: Well, it sounds like you're taking my home.

Kenny: That's a yes then.

Chuck: Haven't found anything better for keeping the creepy-crawlies out then that boxcar.

Clementine: McKenzie's sick.

Y/N: Yeah.

Kenny: Get on the train guys.

They do what he says. McKenzie is looking worse. Duck looks at her.

Duck: Dad? She doesn't look very good.

Kenny: She's fine, Duck. Just get on the train.

He does what Kenny says. Me and Lee are worried about her. including Katjaa. We all get on the train.
