Chapter 59: Camp destroyed

Another year later

Clementine's POV

I was laying down in my tent. I look at AJ who was drawing.

Clementine: What are you drawing goofball?

I get up and walk over to AJ and sit down.

Clementine: You know I'm not good at this game. But I will guess.

I look at the picture. It looked like two people holding hands.

Clementine: Is that..... me and Y/N?

AJ claps his hands and laughs.

Clementine: It is.

Y/N enters the tent.

Clementine: Hey Y/N.

Y/N: Hey Clem.

I stand up as we walks over. We kiss.

Clementine: See what AJ drew.

Y/N: AJ grew a lot.

Clementine: Yeah.

He looks at the drawing.

Y/N: Is that us?

AJ laughs and points at me and Y/N.

Y/N: Good job goofball.

Me and him sit down on the couch.

Clementine: How long has it been?

Y/N: How long has what been?

Clementine: Since we been in this camp.

Y/N: Maybe two years.

Clementine: It felt so long. I'm surprised our camp lasted this long.

Y/N: I think we are safe here.

Clementine: I believe so too.

As we were relaxing. We heard some screaming. We also heard gunshots, AJ started crying.

Clementine: What the hell?!

Y/N: Clem, stay in here with AJ.

Clementine: Be careful!

Y/N: I will.

I slowly get out the tent, I get shot at, I get under cover. There is a full group of bandits shooting at us. Lee and Kenny were in cover with me.

Lee: Thank god you're okay.

Y/N: Where's everyone else?

Kenny: In the tents.

Y/N: We need to deal with these bandits.

Lee: Agreed.

Kenny: On it.

The three of us start shooting back at the bandits. During the gunfight, our camp gets damaged. We were able to kill all of the bandits.

Y/N: It's safe to come out everyone!

Clem, Carley, Sarita, and Duck came out, Clem had AJ.

Sarita: Oh my god.

Duck: What do we do now.

Carley: Our camp is damaged. It's not safe anymore.

Lee: Walkers should be here any minute now with all of the sound.

Kenny: We need to get moving.

Clementine: A new home.

Y/N: Come on, let's get out of here.

We all leave the area, saying goodbye to the camp.
