Chapter 31: Lee, Carley, and Kenny

Y/N's POV

We all went up the hills and we were at the house that Clem saw back over at the bridge.

Rebecca: Well? What are we waiting for?

Carlos: We have to be careful.

Rebecca: My back is done being careful.

Alvin: Doesn't look like anybody's home. Nailed down tight.

Me, Clem, and Duck lean on the railing.

Y/N: You think anyone is following us?

Clementine: I hope not.

Duck: I think we're fine.

Luke walks up to us.

Luke: Feel like taking a look up there

Clementine: Yeah.

Y/N: I will come with you.

We then look at the ladder.

Luke: Take it slow. I might catch one of you. Not both of you.

Duck: I'm not catching either of you.

We then start climbing.

Luke: When I was young, I jumped rooftops.

Clementine: Sounds stupid.

Luke: Yeah it was. The trick was not look down.

Clem almost trips.

Y/N: It's okay. You're fine.

Luke: Look at me, you're okay, you're fine.

Y/N: You said don't look down!

Clementine: You look like a idiot.

Luke: Just climb the thing.

We finish climbing and get to the top.

Y/N: Made it!

Luke: What do you see?!

Clementine: I see lights!

We then see Duck and Luke run away, our group was with another pointing guns.

Y/N: Let's go Clem!

I then slid down the ladder using the sides of the ladder. Clem tries to do the same but then she falls. I then catch her bridal style

Y/N: I got you!

I just stood there with Clem in my arms. We were looking at each others eyes the whole time while blushing, we were lost in them. I then snap out of it and put her down.

Y/N: I-I'm s-sorry about that.

Clementine: I-It's f-fine.

We walk towards the groups.

Luke: Listen, everyone, just stay calm.

???: Who are you?! Are you trying to rob us?

Rebecca: Excuse me honey, but do I look like a fucking thief?

???: Everybody calm down.

Alvin: Hey man, you calm the fuck down.

Carlos: Sarah, get behind me.

???: Just tell us who you are.

Alvin: We ain't here to rob nobody. Put the gun down man.

???: Fuck that!

That voice sounded familiar. Me and Clem caught up with Duck and we were cutting in front of our group while everyone was still arguing.

Luke: Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa.

???: Please just do what he says.

We make it in front of our group. We were shocked to see one man. Kenny. He saw us and a shocked expression hit his face.

Clementine & Y/N: Kenny?!

Duck: Dad?!

Kenny: Duck? Clementine? Y/N?

The three of us hug him. He hugs us back. We then let go. We then see two more people walking out. It was Lee and Carley.

Carley: Oh my god!

Lee: Clem! Y/N! Duck!

Clementine & Y/N and Duck: Lee! Carley!

We all hugged each other. We then let go.

Kenny: These people with you three?

We all nod.

Kenny: We can talk inside.

???: Great. Just started dinner.

Carlos: Are you sure you don't mind?

???: It's gonna storm soon. Please, come in.

Lee: Yeah, not doing so good out here.

We then all walk inside as Me, Clem, Duck, Lee, Carley, and Kenny were all smiling.
