Chapter 73: Factory

Y/N's POV

We all got in the factory.

Tripp: That was a close call.

Then we heard banging on the door.

???: Hey, I'm here! Open up!

Javi: David!

He runs to the door but Clem gets her gun out.

Clementine: Don't you dare let that fucking baby killer in!

She shoots near Javi.

Clementine: Don't make me do this.

I notice the door is about to break down.

Y/N: Clem, I think David is coming in no matter if Javi lets him in or not.

Clem sees the door about to break down as well. She sighs and puts her gun away.

Jesus: Open it.

Javi opens the door and David comes in. David sees us and glares at us.

David: What the fuck are you two doing here?

Lee: Ask your brother.

David: They're trouble. Trust me.

Javi: They're with me. I own them my life.

Tripp: They told us some pretty rancid stuff about you, man.

David: What did they say?

Javi: That you left them to die.

David: No. We kicked them out.

Javi: Out there all alone? You think Mariana and Gabe could've survived that?

David: We had rules. They broke them. I would've done the same to anybody.

Javi: To anybody, huh? You broke the rules for Kate and Gabe.

David: And I'll accept the consequences, unlike them

Lee: Did he suffer?

Kenny: Please tell us. We have to know.

David: No. I wouldn't have let him.

Duck: So he's gone?

David: No! We didn't have to worry about that. He lived!

We look at him in shock.

Carley: What?!

David: He lived.

Javi: How? He was dying. They said so.

David: AJ bounced back. He was stronger then we thought. It was a... miracle.

Y/N: He's alive. He's alive!

Me and Clem look at each other with smiles on our face. We then hug each other tightly.

Y/N: He's alive!!!

I then spin us around in joy, causing Clem to giggle. We let go of each other.

Sarita: Where is he now?

David: I don't know for certain.

Clementine: But he's in Richmond?

David: Dr. Lingard took care of the boy. He'll know where to find him.

Y/N: Then we're going back!

David: We're not going anywhere until the walkers clear.

We then hear voices.

???: Hurry the fuck up!

???: You hurry up!

???: We wouldn't be in this mess if you hadn't gone all trigger happy on David's family.

We hide behind boxes.

David: It's Max, Badger, and Lonnie.

Badger: Man, fuck David, and fuck that little girl. I do the little bitch again in a heartbeat, just to see her head pop.

Max: You sure as hell stupid, ain't you?

Lonnie: You're realizing that now?

We sneak up on them.

Javi: And now we get to see your head pop you motherfucker!

Timeskip to after the fight

Max: Joan was in on it.

Javi: Kill him.

Max: I'm begging you!

David shoots him.

David: Let's go.

We leave the factory.
