Ningguang x Ganyu Part 2 - A Binding Contract

Ganyu walked through the doors of the Jade Chamber. It had been a full week since the odd request by Ningguang and now she was back at work. As requested, she had lunch with Lady Ningguang every day for the last 7 days.

She had felt incredibly uncomfortable with the thought of it for the first few days. After the 3rd day though she felt a lot more comfortable. Lady Ningguang had taken her to various spots around Liyue that offered privacy and a beautiful scenic view. Ganyu had been so nervous to meet her superior outside of work circumstances that she barely spoke. She had felt so awful for being a terrible guest especially after all the trouble Lady Ningguang had gone through. Ganyu had to admit that the food Lady Ningguang bought was absolutely divine.

Ganyu was now making her way up the steps of the Jade Chamber to Ningguang's office. The closer she got to the office the slower her steps became. Her mind was running through the memories of the last few days. A blush crawled up her face and her breathing became shallow when she remembered Ningguang's actions.

Ganyu learned that the confident and assertive business woman was also quite touchy. Ganyu found that her lady would scoot closer and closer to her over the course of their lunch. Lady Ningguang's hand would frequently brush her own when they passed food to each other. At the end of their 7th lunch together, Lady Ningguang had thanked her for keeping her promise while caressing Ganyu's face.

Ganyu had nearly tripped on the steps while thinking those distracting thoughts. She wouldn't dare admit it to her lady but she enjoyed Lady Ningguang's touch more than she thought she should. Her hands were soft yet firm, her touch was warm, and her scent was intoxicating to Ganyu.

Ganyu clutched her face and shook her head to clear her thoughts before facing her boss. Ganyu took a few deep breaths before knocking on the grand double doors. As usual, the doors opened immediately afterwards.

Ningguang greeted her with a smile. "Good morning, Ganyu."

"G-good morning, Lady Ningguang."

"How are you feeling today? Are you glad to be back at work?"

Ganyu gave a small smile. "I am fine, thank you, and yes I am happy to be back at work; I've missed it truthfully."

"I'm glad. Please have a seat Ganyu, there is something I would like to discuss with you before you go back to work."

Ganyu nodded and took a seat on one of the lavish chairs in front of Ningguang's desk. Ganyu's heart was hammering behind her chest. She didn't know why but Ningguang's eyes followed her every move. Ganyu's nerves were slowly climbing again at the attention she was receiving from her superior.

Ningguang elegantly stood up from her premium leather chair and walked around her desk to stand in front of Ganyu. She leaned back against her desk and crossed her arms over her chest.

Ganyu, a little uncomfortable with the proximity, pressed herself against the chair - this did little to distance herself from Ningguang. Ningguang smirked inwardly at Ganyu's unsubtle actions. Ningguang reached behind her and grabbed a manila folder and a fountain pen.

Ningguang pushed off her desk to stand directly over Ganyu. She slightly bent over so she wasn't towering over the nervous girl.

"My sweet Ganyu, are you okay? You seem nervous." Ningguang smirked, caressing Ganyu's face with one hand while holding the document and pen in the other.

Ningguang laughed quietly to herself when she saw how flustered her actions made little Ganyu.

"I...I...y-yes." Ganyu stammered. Her chest was heaving up and down at Ningguang's distracting proximity.

"No need to be so nervous my dear." An unrecognizable sound came from Ganyu's throat when Ningguang started moving her thumb against Ganyu's cheek.

"All I need is for you to sign this document for me. Can you do that for me, darling?" Ningguang purred in Ganyu's ear. Ganyu's lips quivered but she nodded her head obediently.

Ningguang pressed the pen into Ganyu's trembling hand and opened the document for Ganyu. Ningguang slid her hand from Ganyu's cheek to her arm and down to her hand. She gently guided Ganyu's small hand to the signature line.

"Sign your name, little Ganyu." She whispered, eyes boring deep into Ganyu's. Ganyu found herself unable to look away from Ningguang's ruby eyes. It was like she couldn't control her own body, her hand automatically responded to Ningguang's command.

Ningguang looked down at the document and smiled brightly at the elegant signature Ganyu left on the document.

"I knew I'd have you one way or another, my sweet Ganyu." Ningguang said with a devilish smirk.

Ganyu blinked blankly. "W-what?" She shook her head vehemently to clear the fog that Ningguang had placed her in. She was able to finally find her voice again. "What do you mean, M'Lady?" She asked apprehensively. She looked down at the document in her lap and tried to make sense of what the document was about.

Ganyu's eyes bulged out of her head when she read the terms of the document. A contract!

'I, Ganyu, accept Lady Ningguang's courtship and agree to enter a 1-month courtship period in which Lady Ningguang will pursue me [Ganyu] romantically. I [Ganyu] agree to enter this courtship period with impartial bias and fairness.'

'At the end of the 1-month courtship period, the signee [Ganyu] shall make the decision to accept or reject Lady Ningguang's romantic pursuit. If it is believed that the signee [Ganyu] has not provided Lady Ningguang with a fair chance, then the courtship period will be extended for an additional 1-month period until the signee [Ganyu] accepts Lady Ningguang's feelings.'

Ganyu's doe-like eyes snapped up to meet Ningguang's who had a glint in her devilish ruby eyes. "You always fulfill your contracts, don't you Ganyu?"

Ganyu could not answer other than continue staring at her stubborn Lady! She was a servant to Rex Lapis, the God of contracts! You would think that as a servant to the God of contracts she would be more cautious before signing a contract. But how could she focus when Lady Ningguang kept touching her like that!

Ningguang lowered her face until she was nearly nose to nose with Ganyu. "In due time you will come to love me as much as I love you, sweet Ganyu." She whispered, pressing a delicate kiss to the girl's cheek.

Ganyu could do nothing but sit unmovingly. A part of her dreaded what was to come out of this contract but another part of her was excited to see what her Lady had in store for her.
