Yanfei walked up to the wooden door and knocked loudly. The door opened to reveal a short robust man.
"Oh hello Miss. Yanfei. To what do I owe this pleasure?" He asked in a haughty tone.
Yanfei smiled politely at the disdainful man but on the inside she was ecstatic about her reason for visiting. "Hello Mr. Wang. How are you today?"
Mr. Wang smiled tightly at the young woman, a bit peeved about the pleasantries. "Good, and yourself?"
"Fantastic."
"What business do you have here today, Miss. Yanfei?" Mr. Wang bit out.
Yanfei smiled widely at Mr. Wang as she presented him with a document. "Here you are Mr. Wang."
Yanfei watched with excitement as Mr. Wang's eyes scanned over the document. As he read, it was evident on his face that he was getting progressively angry.
"What do you mean I am getting fined for faulty products!?" Mr. Wang shouted angrily. Yanfei's smile widened even more.
"Don't forget to read the bottom half as well, Mr. Wang." She smiled sweetly.
Mr. Wang sneered at her and read the bottom. Mr. Wang crushed the document in his hand when he read he would be slapped with a second hefty fine for tax evasion.
"What proof do you have?" He asked. "I will be taking this matter to the Liyue Qixing for false accusations."
Yanfei chuckled to herself. She knew he would be pissed but she didn't know he would be this pissed. It was certainly entertaining.
"We have confessions from several of your business associates, Mr. Wang. And unfortunately for you, we have a voice recording of you discussing with some other associates your plan to skip out on paying your taxes and your plan to deliberately send faulty coffins to the funeral parlor when you knew they would break. This has caused a lot of trouble and unhappy customers for Miss. Hu Tao."
Mr. Wang took a threatening step towards Yanfei but all she did was smile. This man would never be a match for her.
"Oh really? Well why don't you show me these supposed confessions and recording?" Mr. Wang challenged with his arms crossed over his chest.
Yanfei chuckled. "The evidence is already safely in the hands of the Liyue Qixing, specifically, Lady Ningguang. If you have any issues please take it up with her."
Mr. Wang's face paled considerably; they both knew that he wouldn't dare lie to Lady Ningguang so he will not be taking any issues to her.
"Please submit your payments to Miss. Ganyu by the end of the week. Have a nice day, Mr. Wang!" Yanfei said mockingly. She turned around and left before the man could say more to her.
She walked back to the city with a huge smile on her face. Mr. Wang sure had the nerves to screw over her Hu Tao like that but unfortunately for him, he didn't know who he was messing with.
Yanfei was at the dinner table one evening mulling through a few legal documents. She recently had a couple citizens approach her regarding issues they've had with some business owners in Liyue. The issue was the usual; citizens felt like the businesses had scammed them out of their money because the products were not what they were promised.
Yanfei looked up from her papers when she heard the front door open and close. She stood up from her chair with a smile on her face and skipped to the front door. She pulled Hu Tao into a hug but slowly pulled back when Hu Tao didn't return her hug. She looked at Hu Tao's face and Yanfei mirrored the frown on Hu Tao's face.
