Ganyu x Fem!Reader [Request 4] - Picnic

"A-are we...are we almost...t-there yet?" You huff out. Your legs felt like jelly and your heart was beating it's way out of your chest. You slowly lowered yourself to the ground and laid on your side huffing and puffing loudly.

You open your eyes and see a pair of heels in front of you.

"S-save me G-Ganyu." You groan, closing your eyes.

Ganyu laughed softly while thinking to herself how you could possibly be so unfit. Though she shouldn't have been surprised, the only time you were active was when you were at work. When you weren't at work, you would lay on the couch all day and order food from Wanmin.

It actually surprised Ganyu that you suggested going on a hike today and having a picnic utop Mount Tianheng.

"Today was your idea (Y/N)." Giggled Ganyu.

You groan and turn over to lay on your back. You looked up at Ganyu with pleading eyes. "Carry me?"

Ganyu shook her head and laughed some more. "We're almost there, surely you can manage for a few more minutes?"

Ganyu reached her hand towards you and you glared up at her. Begrudgingly you grabbed her hand and allowed her to haul you up into a standing position.

You trailed behind Ganyu and pouted the whole way up. She had slowed her pace considerably for you and you were grateful for that but you were also jealous of the stamina that her adeptus side gave her.

When you reach the top of the mountain, you stumble to the center of the top platform and collapse on the soft green grass. While you were catching your breath, Ganyu was setting up your picnic area.

You crack open an eye and see Ganyu sitting with her legs stretched out in front of her. The picnic basket was beside her and she was rummaging through it for the utensils and food. You crawl across the grass until you reach Ganyu and laid your head on her soft thighs. You sigh in bliss and she nuzzled your cheek against her thigh.

"Are you also too tired to eat?" Ganyu giggled as she looked down at you. She ran her hand over your head to smooth down your unruly hair.

Your nose crinkled as the smell of food wafted through the air. You turned to look up at Ganyu and tried your best to give her puppy eyes. "Feed me please?"

Ganyu sighed and shook her head in amusement but she didn't say no so that was a win in your books! You smiled up at her and opened your mouth, waiting for the food.

Ganyu gave you an unimpressed look and flicked your forehead. "Sit up or you might choke."

You frowned but you listened to her and sat up. You sat beside Ganyu but you swung your legs over her thighs and rested your legs on top of her. You open your mouth and you close your eyes in happiness. The spicy tofu and fried ground pork tasted delicious on your tongue.

After you finished chewing and swallowing you exclaimed. "That was so good! What else did we pack?" You asked as you try to peer into the picnic basket on the other side of Ganyu. After all the walking you did, you forgot what food you put in the basket that morning.

"Pass me the basket, please?" You asked. Ganyu placed the basket on your lap and watched you sift through the contents of the basket. Your eyes were drawn to a particular dish. You pull it out of the basket along with a spoon. You carefully scooped some of the sweet rice onto the spoon and lifted it up to Ganyu's mouth.

You giggled at the surprised look on Ganyu's face. Nonetheless she took the food in her mouth. Although you weren't really a big fan of the sweet prosperous rice, you could tell Ganyu absolutely loved it. It was quite interesting that your taste in food was such polar opposites. While you tend to favour salty and spicy foods, she prefers sweet foods.

You two kept taking turns feeding each other until all the food in the basket was gone and you two had fully bellies. Ganyu had excellent foresight and suggested that you two bring a blanket with you so you could rest after lunch. It was a fantastic idea since you two were suffering from a food coma.

You cuddled into Ganyu's side. Her arms wrapped around you and her chin rested on your head. You had your arms tucked between your chests. You turn your head into her neck and sigh blissfully. A cool breeze blanketed the both of you and slowly pulled you into a peaceful slumber.

You pressed a gentle kiss to the hollow of Ganyu's neck. In response, her arms tighten around you and the comforting pressure had you finally drifting off to sleep in the arms of your beautiful Ganyu.
