Keqing x Fem!Reader [Request 23] - Snow Day

You were sleeping peacefully in bed when the sun filtering through your thin curtains woke you up. You let out a soft yawn and sit up as the blankets pooled around your waist. You turned to look out the window and squealed silently at what you saw. You slowly slipped out of bed so as to not wake your partner but once your feet touched the cool floor, you skipped over to the window and threw open the curtain.

Snow! Snow was everywhere and more fell down from the blue skies! You absolutely adored winter and all the wonders it bought. This was the first snowfall of the year and it excited you to no end!

A slender pair of arms wrapped around your waist and you jumped in surprise. You looked over your shoulder and smiled sheepishly. "I'm sorry, did I wake you?"

Keqing shook her head and smiled at you. She could clearly see the excitement in your eyes and it was obvious to her what created that excitement.

"Shall we go out and enjoy the snow today?" She asked.

You nodded enthusiastically. "Yes!"

Keqing giggled and nodded. She unwound her arms from your waist and slapped your butt. "Well go get changed then, I'll make us a quick breakfast."

You blush and pout as you rub your sore behind. Nonetheless you listened to her and quickly ran to your shared closet to find an appropriate outfit for the weather.

You slipped on a thick pair of leggings and threw on a maroon sweater. You slipped on a pair of long socks and gathered your wool hat and gloves in your hands. You rushed into the bathroom to brush your teeth before scurrying to the kitchen.

Keqing looked at you from over her shoulder and giggled cutely at your excitement. "Here you are." She said, pushing a plate of waffles in front of you. While you wolfed down your breakfast, Keqing went back to the bedroom to change.

Just as you placed your dirty dishes in the sink, Keqing walked out in her winter coat. She offered you her arm and you happily hooked your arm around hers. She practically dragged her out of your shared apartment but Keqing was okay to be dragged. In fact, she was deeply amused by how excited you get by something as simple as snow.

The snow was so fresh and crisp that it made a satisfying crunching sound with every step you took. You walked down the streets of Liyue with your tongue out trying to catch all the snowflakes you could. Keqing was laughing at your silliness but it didn't deter you from your fun.

Slowly but surely, the two of you made your way out of the city and into an open area. You ran and dove into the snow laughing hysterically.

"Come build a fort with me!" You say to Keqing. She laughed but nevertheless she helped you gather all the snow you needed. You two work efficiently and pile the snow in a huge circle around you. Once you got the basic outline, you began shaping it into a castle-like design.

You jumped up and over the fort and turned around to admire your great work. It was beautifully built and looked sturdy as heck! If a snow war were to break out, you would definitely win.

You suddenly jump and squeal when you felt a force smack your ass, chilling it in the process. You turned out and gasped in dismay. Keqing looked at you with a smirk on her face as she formed another snowball in her hands.

"You did not!" You accused disbelievingly.

Keqing giggled. "But I did. What are you going to do about it?" Keqing challenged. You glared at your girlfriend and pointed an accusing finger at her. "If you want war, then I'll give you war!" You exclaimed.

You quickly dove back into your fort and started forming snowballs at an absurd speed. When you had enough snowballs, you popped your head over the fort and frowned when Keqing was nowhere in sight. But that didn't mean the sneaky woman had left the area so you kept your eyes peeled and your ears opened.

You heard the crunch of snow from behind you so you quickly turned around and caught a glimpse of Keqing. You launched a snowball in her direction but to your dismay she disappeared! All of a sudden you felt snow explode against your back. You whipped your head around and glared at Keqing.

"Hey!" You shouted. "That's cheating! You can't use your teleportation skill. How is that fair?"

You squealed and rubbed your butt as another snowball smacked your cold behind.

Keqing giggled innocently at you. "There's no such thing as fairness in war."

You spend the next hour engaging in snow warfare with Keqing. It was really just you trying to hit her once with a snowball while she has probably smacked your ass over a hundred times now.

You finally threw your hands up and surrendered. "Okay, okay, I give up! Now stop hitting me with snowballs! AND WHY DID YOU ONLY AIM FOR MY BUTT? Now it's all cold and wet." You send your meanest glare possible to Keqing who looked utterly amused.

Despite your crabby attitude, she pulled you into a hug and kissed your cold lips. Her somehow warm hands caressed your cold wet ass. "Oh I'm sorry, (Y/N). How about we head on home and I'll warm it up for you." Keqing winked. You sputtered at her words. Thank goodness the chilly air turned your cheeks a rosy pink otherwise she would have seen how her words affected you.

Keqing tugged you close to her to share her warmth as she led you back home. Once you were home, she threw kindling in the fireplace and lit a fire. While the fire warmed up your home, you two went to the bedroom to change into warm dry clothes.

Keqing grabbed your hand and led you to the couch in front of the fireplace. She wrapped you up in a blanket and turned the TV on to a program that you loved while she disappeared into the kitchen. A few moments later she returned with two steaming mugs of hot chocolate. You closed your eyes and moaned as the delicious sugary smell wafted through your nose.

Keqing carefully handed you the hot mug and sat down beside you. She wrapped the blanket around the two of you, creating a little cocoon of warmth.

"How are you feeling now?" Keqing asked, taking a sip of her hot chocolate.

You smiled sweetly and took a deep sip of your delicious beverage. "Warm and happy." You say.

Keqing giggled. She placed her mug on the coffee table and gently took yours as well. She scooted closer to you and huddled against you. "Have I been forgiven for my actions earlier?" Keqing asked.

You frowned and pretended to really deliberate if you should forgive her or not. You let out an over dramatic sigh. "Welllll, I guess...if you give me a kiss." You cheekily added.

Keqing rolled her eyes at your less than subtle demand. She let out an equally dramatic sigh. "Fineee, if I must."

Keqing leaned over and kissed you sweetly. You sighed happily at the feeling of her soft lips on yours. You could taste the sweetness of the hot chocolate on her lips. It made the kisses even more divine tasting.

Today was honestly one of the best days ever. The first snowfall of the year was beautiful. Playing in the snow was so much fun, despite getting your ass smacked by balls of snow over and over again. But to top off the whole day, you were cuddled with the love of your life in front of a warm fire, sharing the best kisses you've ever experienced.

Today couldn't have ended any better than this you thought as Keqing's tongue slipped into your mouth.
