Jean x Lisa - A Long Overdue Vacation Part 1

Lisa wanted to pull her hair out but she resisted the urge. Instead, she walked to the kitchenette in the Knight's headquarters to prepare a tray of tea and snacks. Once she had everything she needed, she walked to Jean's office.

One of the knight's standing guard opened the door for her which she acknowledged with a grateful smile, the door gently closed behind her. Lisa sighed, it had been nearly 6 hours now and nothing has changed.

Her beloved and hardworking Jean was slouched over her desk mindlessly reading and signing document after document. Even after 6 hours, it looked to Lisa that the stacks of papers had barely diminished. She knew Jean couldn't leave the work unfinished but she really wished Jean would take a break every now and then.

Lisa set the tray on the edge of Jean's desk, which was the only spot that was not cluttered with paper. The two had been in a committed relationship for the last 3 years, a wonderful 3 years, but Jean's connection to her work has barely changed. Nearly 2 years ago, Grand Master Varka had returned from his expedition. He had shocked the entire city, especially Jean, when he announced his retirement and named Jean as his successor. His love for adventure had been too great to ignore and he found that he could not commit to his duties as the Grand Master since he had such a strong desire to travel.

After much convincing and supportive words from Lisa, Jean humbly accepted her new position as the Grand Master. Every citizen rejoiced at the news since she had more than proven she was a strong, capable, and fair leader. After a grand week-long celebration, Jean was officially inaugurated into her new role and Varka took off on his adventures again. He would return to the city once every couple months to check in on things, but other than that he was happily travelling across Teyvat.

Since she became the Grand Master, Jean had been especially busy improving the city. The city really had improved under her leadership but it meant more work and little alone time with her lover. One night, after not seeing Jean for a week since she was holed up in her office, Lisa had had enough and shouted at her shocked lover. After that, Jean had done her best to reduce the amount of work she gave herself by delegating it to her capable team of advisors and knights. However, Jean's old habits would sometimes resurface and this present moment was an example of that.

Lisa walked around Jean's chair and curled her arms around Jaen's shoulders. Her hands came to a rest at Jean's chest. Lisa leaned her head on Jean's shoulder and pressed her face into Jean's neck.

Lisa felt Jean stiffen for a moment before she relaxed into her embrace. She heard Jean place her pen down and sigh.

"I'm sorry...I'm doing it again aren't I?" Jean mumbled.

Lisa pressed a kiss to Jean's cheek. "Yes you are darling. How about we take a quick break? I bought tea and snacks."

"Sounds good Lisa." Lisa unwound her arms from Jean's body and stepped back so Jean could get up off her chair.

Lisa, at one point, had redecorated Jean's office to include a cozy little sitting area. Since Jean was always so busy and Lisa never liked being away from her lover's side, she made a nice little napping area in Jean's office so she could spend time there while Jean worked.

Lisa picked up the tray and set it on the coffee table before pulling Jean down beside her on the lavish and comfortable couch.

Lisa handed Jean her cup of tea before picking up her own.

"Thank you Lisa." Jean whispered, after she took a refreshing sip of tea. Jean stretched her neck and sighed. She hadn't realized just how stiff she was from sitting at her desk for hours.

"Anything for you darling." Lisa smiled at Jean. Jean's heart clenched a little when she noted the hint of sadness in Lisa's smile.

Jean kicked herself for being so neglectful of her lover. She knew Lisa was a very affectionate person and loved to spend time together. With her busy work schedule, Jean knew she had neglected Lisa and she hated herself for it!

Jean placed her cup of tea down and reached for Lisa's to do the same. Jean ignored Lisa's questioning gaze. Instead, she dragged Lisa across her lap until Lisa was straddling her.

"Jean!" Lisa gasped. She was not expecting this - she thought that she would give Jean some nourishment then she would return to her work.

Jean reached her hand up and gently flicked Lisa's hat off her head. Jean kept her eyes locked on Lisa as her hand reached behind to take off Lisa's hair tie until it released Lisa's luscious honey locks.

Jean gently guided Lisa's head towards hers until their lips connected in a tender kiss. Jean took her time to explore her lover's mouth and give her the attention that Lisa deserved. Jean glided her hands down Lisa's back until they rested on Lisa's supple bottom.

Lisa pulled back from the intoxicating kiss and rested her forehead against Jean's. The office was filled with heavy breathing as the two tried to catch their breath.

Jean looked into Lisa's eyes with a sad smile. "I am so sorry Lisa, it seems I have neglected you again." Jean pressed another kiss to Lisa's lips.

Lisa rested her hands on Jean's shoulders. "It's okay Jean. I understand that you can't always step away from your work. I will cherish any time I spend with you, darling."

Jean shook her head. "It's not okay, Lisa. I know it makes you sad and I hate that I'm treating you like this. You deserve better than this, my love. I will do everything in my power to make it up to you, I promise." Jean pulled Lisa into another kiss to silence whatever retort the witch was going to give her.

She hated that Lisa was sacrificing her happiness just for her. It was wrong! Lisa is always the one giving in the relationship and it was about time Jean did the same - Lisa deserved that.
