"I love you."
Jisung hummed as a reply, puckering out his soft lips for a second to peck his boyfriend's. The reaction wasn't reassuring or loving at all, but Jisung couldn't help it. Minho, who was in his tight, heroic costume that hugged his defined body, never let go of Jisung's petite waist, not liking how Jisung was acting, but then again, he couldn't blame him. However, he wasn't to blame either.
Jisung stared at his boyfriend's chest with an unreadable expression while his mind was empty. His smile was rare nowadays. Tears of sadness were more common than his smile, which shouldn't be anyone's case. He knew he shouldn't have dated the city's most famous hero, but he was greedy. He wanted Minho's love more than anything, and that was exactly what he got.
They have been together for three long years, but that didn't mean that they were necessarily happy. Jisung dated Minho without realizing who he was. When Minho identified himself as Moral, the city's greatest hero, everything changed. Minho no longer needed to sneak out or make up some dumb excuse to go out and work, which was to save the city. Minho would just leave with a quick kiss and a small apology. Jisung was tired of it.
He hated himself for falling for him. Falling for someone who never had time for him. It got worse when Minho found out that Jisung had been sneaking out while he was out doing his responsibility of protecting the city. Harsh words and painful truths and feelings would erupt into shouts, creating arguments between the two. They would get through it though.
Barely.
Jisung knew that going out to clubs or with other guy friends was suspicious, but like, what else could he do to have fun? He wasn't about to just sit in their house all day and do nothing. He would clean, watch TV, take care of the cats, and clean some more. He needed to get out. Minho coming home late at night and leaving first thing in the morning wounded him. He needed affection. He needed communication.
He needed love, because Minho's, was wearing out.
Minho sighed softly. Minho's strong hand grabbed Jisung's gently, making sure not to crush the fragile fingers with his super strength that could lift cars easily. During his training, he had to learn to control his powers, and Jisung made it easier. His will to not hurt the younger made it easier to control, but it would be difficult to do while arguing with him.
Jisung was pulled onto his boyfriend's lap when he took a seat on the white sofa in their living room. The dark blue glow emitting from the cracks of the closed binds of their living room signified that it was dawn. Minho was ready to transform into Moral and leave his beloved boyfriend at home. It saddened Jisung, but not as much as it used to. This was daily and he has adapted to Minho's schedule.
"Sungie, please... Answer me. You haven't talked to me properly for almost two days now. How many apologies do you need?" Minho tried not to sound too angry, but his patience with Jisung was running thin.
"Until I get a sincere one," Jisung sneered, avoiding eye contact, which made Minho groan annoyingly.
"Jisung, please, we can't keep arguing about this. Can you stop being so childish and just talk to me? It seems that you only speak words to me when we argue now. Can't you just fucking get over it?" Minho snapped, making Jisung lips quiver slightly as he began to move out of his boyfriend's lap.
No, he couldn't get over it. Minho forgot about the date he organized for his birthday. Instead of spending his birthday with Minho on a lovely date, he spent it crying his heart out in bed, cuddling Soonie. No, he couldn't forgive Minho so easily, because that was how most 'dates' went. Minho would plan a date and end up not even showing up or leaving in the middle of it because of business.
