It was quite obvious that both of the males were tired considering their silence and lack of movement inside the filled bathtub. Jisung sat behind Hyunjin who was sitting between his legs and on the floor of the tub, making it easier for the younger to wash his hair. It hadn't been too long since they got in, but their exhaustion made it feel like they been in there longer than that actually have.
It wasn't obvious of either of the superhumans were just sleepy or in deep thought, but perhaps it was both. Jisung was currently thinking about a few different subjects such as Changbin, Chan, Felix, and even Jeongin. He also was thinking about his life in general now, but those thoughts made him feel stressed out, so he tried his best to push them aside. Jisung couldn't tell if Hyunjin was falling asleep or thinking about something since his back was faced towards him, but his aura was definitely different.
"So, when do you want to take me to the lab?" The blue haired male decided to speak up, not wanting their time before bed to be in complete silence.
He heard a deep breath emit from Hyunjin - a tired one. "Hm, not sure. We could go in there tomorrow night I suppose."
"Tomorrow night? Why not tomorrow morning or sometime during the day?" He asked with confusion.
"I have... something to do tomorrow morning. It might be a while. After that, I need to get the supplies ready before I come get you. Is that time not good for you or something?"
"No. Just asking," he simply answered as he ran his soapy fingers through Hyunjin's hair, making sure to get every area. "What exactly do you need to do?"
Hyunjin didn't move but he didn't speak either, almost as if contemplating whether or not to just be bluntly honest. Jisung would've been able to detect uncertainty right away if he trained more. Happiness, anger, and sadness were the easiest to detect. Other emotions needed more training to detect, but by the silence, Jisung could just guess on how he was feeling and remember this kind of aura. He suspected that he was hesitating or he was just really tired, but it appeared to be both judging by the silence and the clear exhaustion evident in the villain's voice.
"It's nothing."
"Of course it is. You never tell me anything. Why are you so secretive with me? Do you not trust me or something?" Jisung took his hand out of Hyunjin's hair, now feeling a bit betrayed and angry. The villain seemed to have just brushed off his emotions as he began to wash the shampoo out his hair himself.
"It's not that I don't trust you, Jisung. It's just... complicated," he spoke.
"Hyunjin, you're a human. You can speak. You have the ability to speak and say whatever you want. The reason why you don't want to talk is because you know the consequences of speaking about certain topics or because you just don't trust me and don't want to talk to me. I don't care if it's complicated, just tell me," Jisung snapped, having enough of Hyunjin's secrets.
Hyunjin rinsed the shampoo out of his hair and moved away so he could see down beside Jisung, now making eye contact. His expression gave away how tired he was and it could be one of the reasons why he was giving Jisung such small answers, but the younger believed it had something more to it than that.
"Sungie, please. Let's talk about this in the morning. I'm too tired and I don't feel like arguing," he pleaded.
Jisung glared. "Just tell me what you have to do that's so important. You could avoid an argument if you would just tell me."
Hyunjin started to get annoyed. He knew this day would come, but he just didn't know when. It took longer than expected, but it was definitely the characteristics from the chemicals finally settling in. He didn't know that it took this long for the process to complete, but at least he knew now. Rebellious was the most popular trait amongst villains with dark blue hair and it was unfortunate that Jisung had received that one. It was obvious that Jisung was gaining more confidence when going against him, and Hyunjin didn't like that at all.
