Jisung grumpily sat on the edge of the bed while Hyunjin washed the dried blood off with a wet rag that was around his arm. The warm, wet material wiped the blood away until it finally got to the wound around his wrist from the wires. Jisung winced in pain when the villain gently cleaned the wound as he held his hand with his free one to steady it.

Jisung and Hyunjin haven't said a word to each other. Jisung was too miserable about being held hostage and Hyunjin was... quiet for some unknown reason. It was weird to not have him chuckling or smiling at him in amusement for making angry.

Jisung sat and started to gather up his emotions about the situation. He was being held in an underwater facility under the surface of a lake. Winter was approaching which meant that the water above will most likely freeze which would make it even harder for the heroes to come to rescue him which was his only chance out of here.

Jisung escaping was not an option anymore. He was now being personally supervised by Hyunjin ever since the robots failed to keep him from exiting the room. Hyunjin was supposed to let him suffer in his restraints for three days in an uncomfortable position, but clearly, Jisung couldn't handle it after the first day. Jisung was now fearing getting hurt further, so he promised Hyunjin he would never try escaping again. He was lucky Hyunjin showed him some mercy.

Jisung felt Hyunjin grab his hand gently and turn it around so he could wash the blood on the other side. Jisung's eyes watched Hyunjin take care of his injury. He should be thankful that he was doing this, but he was the one that caused it in the first place. He most likely left a nasty-looking scar behind.

Jisung compared his hand to Hyunjin's with his eyes. Hyunjin's fingers were slender and long. His pinky finger had a small silver ring wrapped around it, but that was it. He could see how much larger his hand was to his and he could also see a couple of veins rising along with his hand's movements as he cleaned his wrist. He just stared blankly. Despite Hyunjin being the one that caused his harm, he couldn't remember the last time Minho took his time in treating the wounds he created. Minho wouldn't harm him physically, but emotionally, yes. His simple apologies weren't good enough to make up for what he caused.

Jisung looked at his wrist, almost crying when he saw the damage left behind from the sharp wires. The cuts weren't too deep, but they were deep enough to where scars would form after a while. It was going to leave a giant scar around his wrist for sure, but at least Hyunjin was taking care of what he created. Jisung still hated him though, but the gentleness lessened his hate by a very small percentage.

He thought this man was mental. He thought he was a sadist and a psychopath, but he didn't seem to be any of those above at this moment. Jisung wouldn't doubt him being them though, but right now, Jisung couldn't help but think of him as a gentle person. Jisung knew the man kidnapped him and harmed him, yes, and he will never forget that. He wasn't that dense. Jisung knew that this could all be an act. But even if this was all an act, Jisung appreciated the gentleness.

Jisung yelled in pain and tried yanking his wrist away when some sort of liquid was poured into a cotton ball and was dabbed all around his wound. Jisung felt a burning sensation run through him as he tried moving his wrist away, but Hyunjin held it in a firm grip as he continued to dab the cotton onto the damaged skin.

"Don't move," Hyunjin quietly commanded under his breath, focusing on Jisung's wound.

"Why... are you doing this? I thought you loved seeing people in pain," Jisung whispered, confused by the villain's actions.

Hyunjin chuckled deeply. "Me? Love seeing people in pain? I only love seeing the people I hate in pain. Who wouldn't?"

"Killing people is wrong though..." Jisung objected as Hyunjin began to grab the bandages to wrap up the first wrist.
