For the past few of days after taking the brunette to the lab one day, Hyunjin would leave Jisung to go check up on Jeongin and Felix who were apparently in horrible conditions. For some odd reason, he didn't feel a single ounce of guilt about it or anything, but maybe it was because he hadn't seen them for himself. Hyunjin comes first. Always. He had recited that inside his head for days after the villain had granted him permission to visit Felix when he gets better.

Fortunately, Jisung's weak condition improved over time. His vision was back to normal and he was able to walk again, but his super strength was still recovering. His regeneration healed any possible wounds like the one on his neck and he felt great again. Since Jisung was almost back to his normal condition, Hyunjin finally allowed him to see Felix. Unexpectedly, the villain didn't join him; deciding to leave Jisung alone with him. Of course, he didn't question it, but maybe he should have.

The male made his way down the dark hallway. He was instructed where the room was and he followed the instructions carefully. He turned the corner when he needed to and there stood a steel door in front of him. Felix was in this room.

Jisung didn't know how to exactly feel. His best friend was in here, being held against his will and he was simply allowing it. Did love really change him that much? What the actual hell was wrong with him? Did this seem okay for him? Was he really chosing Hyunjin over someone who has been there for him for years?

Yes.

Without a second thought, Jisung threw the steel door open, feeling a type of way when he saw the familiar room. It was the isolated room that Jisung was first ever kept in after he was kidnapped. He swore that a wave of déjà vu hit him when he saw a shivering, chained Felix huddled in the far corner, stripped from all weapons and gadgets. Something deep inside him churned at the terrible sight of his best friend, but his mind that was blinded by Hyunjin's love overpowered that feeling.

Jisung could sense it. The betrayal Felix was feeling. The anguish. The disappointment. The fear. The confusion. He felt it all. Felix looked like he had suffered so much in just a short period of time. It wasn't just the primolian's emotional state that made him frown slightly, but his physical state as well.

Felix was sobbing painfully as if that was what he had been doing ever since he got here. He had dark bruises littering his arms, he had messy hair, and chains keeping his wrists behind his back and his ankles tightly together. He was vulnerable, cold, and already looked smaller than before.

He didn't know how to feel now. Again. This feeling again. The conflicting emotions was there again. Why was this happening? Why were emotions always changing so abruptly and rapidly? He didn't know how to feel or express it, but he knew he didn't like this. It was like his mind was having a mental battle and it was starting to produce a headache.

Jisung walked slowly forward, seeing Felix shivering visibly with soft sobs erupting from his throat. His dirty, messy hair was covering his eyes from his perspective, but he could see a patch of blood decorated on Felix's quivering bottom lip. When he knelted before him, the detective flinched so violently that it even startled Jisung. Again, something struck him suddenly which caused a surge of pain to run through his head, but something instantly washed it away as if to cancel those feelings.

The blonde haired male looked up, expecting to see a menacing looking male with silver-hair or the wanted villain, Sinister. His heart stopped when he saw Jisung kneeling a couple of feet away from him. He revealed his tear-filled, swollen eyes and the wet, pink-hued freckled cheeks of his. He was not expecting Jisung, but he was thankful because he was better than the other two villains. However, his eyes still held fear. This was the Jisung that tried killing him.
