Jisung's head that was filling up with a plotting scheme to escape his current situation immediately emptied when his eyes landed on the hero. It was like he instantly knew that he wouldn't be able to get away now that a hero was here with the team of officers... or maybe it emptied for a different reason.
Minho still looked as handsome as he did the day he last saw him. His natural orange-red hair was out of place and a bit messy due to him moving around the building. The black outfit was definitely shocking since Minho did wear lighter colors, but it was nice on him. He wondered if he changed depending on what kind of mission he had because he hasn't seen Minho ever wear this one. Even with the new outfit, he still looked good despite having eyebags under his eyes which did manage to pull a few heartstrings inside Jisung. The thought of Minho not getting enough sleep made him suddenly guilty for some odd reason.
He didn't know where these feelings for the hero were coming from all of a sudden. It wasn't love. It couldn't be. He loved Hyunjin. The feeling he had when looking at Hyunjin felt different now. His heart was racing looking at Minho, but he could tell it wasn't because he was happy or excited to see him. He was scared.
All of a sudden, the realization that he was finally found and caught hit him. It didn't hit him back then when he was taking on those other officers, but it did now. He instantly became frightened when he realized that he was the villain in this case. All of the stories Hyunjin told him about the heroes sunk in and he could feel himself start to panick. He was a villain and these heroes had the option to do anything they want with him. They could experiment on him, keep him in a dark cell for the remaining of his life, or try to control him so that they could use his abilities. Perhaps he deserved the second part, but he was scared beyond belief. He didn't want that.
"Let go!" He suddenly shrieked in horror when he was suddenly tackled to the ground by the officers that had taken advantage of the situation. Jisung wasn't paying attention but now he was suddenly paying attention to everything.
Jisung had been tackled to the ground on his stomach. The officers attempted to keep him there and pin his wrists behind his back, but the frightened villain subconsciously used his super-strength to turn over and rip their gloved hands off of him. He was panting and scared, but that didn't stop the officers from trying to restrain him. They were now on full alert since Jisung was no longer cooperating.
Two of them pointed their guns at him right which caused him freeze in fear. He was panicking so much that he didn't even hear what they were saying. He was panting - close to hyperventilating. Tears started to roll down his cheeks and mix with the blood that had tainted some of his face. The officers that were thrown to the side seemed to recover very quickly and it was all he could think about.
He sat in the middle of the hallway trying to regain control over his breathing. He didn't see how the guns that was in the officers' hands began to lower under a silent command coming from behind him. It was suddenly very silent and Jisung could finally hear his own desperate breaths clearly without anyone shouting at him. None of the officers approached him unlike before, but instead, someone else did.
Jisung flinched and looked up a bit and turned around to see Minho crouched a foot away from him. He could tell that Minho wanted to just dive in and give him the biggest hug, but he was holding himself back. Jisung was making no effort trying to hide the fear swirling inside his aura. Minho didn't even need aura detection to know that he was scared.
"Jisung-" Minho stopped himself when he heard his voice crack. He was trying his hardest not to cry out of happiness and help Jisung calm down, but it was nearly impossible.
Minho was completely happy though. He was filled with guilt as well. Jisung no longer had his natural brown hair. He would've tried to convince himself that it was just hair dye, but he also could see the gray shade to his eye color. He no longer had his dark brown eye color either. Again, he would've tried to convince himself that it was just contacts so he could feel better, but he knew better. After seeing Jisung throw off three officers with such little strength proved that something horrible has happened to him. Something he wasn't able to protect from.
