Jisung felt like he was going to die from the lack of sleep. It has been a week since he was brought here and not once was he able to leave the isolation. Jisung hadn't seen Hyunjin for the past four days ever since he harshly declined his offer.

Jisung wasn't going to allow Hyunjin's words to affect him but in a way, they did. Ever since their conversation, Jisung kept replaying the words in his head. Since Jisung was chained and kept in a room alone, he had plenty of time to think. That was all he could do.

Sleeping was something he couldn't do. From time to time, a man with silver hair and an undercut would visit him to bring him food and water, but that was it. The room was cold. Always. The lack of warmth and the uncomfortableness of the solid ground kept him awake. Jisung would fall asleep in some awkward way, but he would only get a couple of hours of sleep at the most. He wasn't given anything else except food and water. He was given a toothbrush and toothpaste, however, but he was craving a shower and sleep the most.

Jisung could practically feel the eyebags forming under his eyes, but when he would check himself in the mirror he wouldn't see it. He could tell they were forming though. For four solid days, Jisung did nothing but rethink his life and how the hell he got in such a terrible situation.

He didn't know who to blame. Jisung should've never dated Minho. He felt like he wasted part of his life on someone he was never going to marry. Minho was just too busy. Jisung didn't mean that much if he cared about the city more. Did Minho even know he was gone? Would Minho care if he suddenly disappears? Minho wouldn't have to worry about the relationship, so maybe.

Jisung felt himself losing it and it was already a week being held captive. Maybe it was because he was in a room and had nothing else to do but think. For some reason, Minho started to drift away further away now. Jisung was so stressed about his current situation that he didn't even think about it. Minho was gone for two months before he was taken and still couldn't find Hyunjin. What if it takes another two months? Three? Six? A year? What if Minho never finds him? What if Jisung is never rescued?

Jisung would be in the hands of Hyunjin forever. Jisung couldn't possibly escape by himself with a bunch of superhumans. It was impossible. The only thing holding him inside this room was a pathetic chain, but he knew it wouldn't be just that keeping him here. Jisung couldn't just break out of the chain, run out the door, and expect to have freedom immediately.

He didn't know what Hyunjin was going to do to him. He was thankful he wasn't tortured yet, but ever since Hyunjin offered him to join him, he did have some conclusions. The only thing that would make sense was that Hyunjin was trying to make him turn his back against Minho and join the villain side... Which he would never do.

Hyunjin wasn't kind. He wasn't innocent. He was a murderer. A villain. Jisung could never see himself by his side but he also couldn't see himself on the hero's side as well. He was just in the middle.

Jisung was no longer scared when someone would come into the room. He knew he wasn't going to be harmed. There was nothing to fear except for Hyunjin when he was in a bad mood which he hasn't seen yet. Jisung would just keep quiet when someone would bring his meal or water. He was too out of it to talk. He was exhausted, but it came to the point where he had to talk.

He felt so drained. He was surprised how he hasn't frozen yet considering the changeless arctic-like temperature. His once tan, beautiful skin was beginning to pale very slowly, losing its beautiful honey-like hue. Jisung just wanted to go to sleep in a comfortable bed no matter what it took. The solitude for days was getting to him after a couple of more days and when he thought he was going to freeze to death or die of exhaustion, that was when he finally spoke, no longer able to keep up his stubbornness.
