Felix cried his heart out after Jisung left. Everything was his fault. He blamed everything on himself.
He should have found Sinister's secret lair sooner. He could have been able to save Jisung from the evil villains before he was manipulated or controlled. He refused to believe that his best friend, Jisung, would try killing him on his own free will. He just couldn't wrap his head around it. There was no way that Jisung would do something like that or even attempt it.
Because of him, Jisung had to wait so long until he eventually he fell 'in love' with Sinister. Because of him, Jeongin is probably in critical condition, suffering a lot more than he is. Maybe he was dead even. He felt terrible, but he could do nothing about it. His body was aching and shivering terribly and the dried tears on his freckled face only made it colder and more uncomfortable. Escaping wasn't an option for him. Felix was too devastated and hurt. He felt like the greatest disappointment at the moment.
He couldn't believe that he found Jisung. He wasn't in the right state of mind, but he found him. If only they were able to call the Hero's Organization. In the woods, there was no signal. Calling the heroes for backup was impossible out here and it only made things worse for Jeongin and himself. If Jeongin was even alive that is.
It had been an hour or so since Jisung's first visit. Felix was expecting Jisung to be held hostage when he first found out about the lair, but Jisung looked healthy. He didn't look any different except for the mullet he was growing with longer hair and a more defined body. Sinister did something to Jisung. Jisung was a normal human, not a superhuman. He believed that whatever caused Jisung to receive superpowers was also the reason for his change of heart and personality. That was what he believed and what he wanted to be a fact. He had to cling to that sliver of hope.
Felix shivered when the temperature suddenly dropped, now far colder than before. He was freezing to death at this point. His cracked and dried lips were starting to lose their pink hue as his dried tears felt like ice stuck to his face. The chains wrapped around his ankles and wrists with a nasty, rusty texture, but the cold iron was burning into his skin now. His heart was pounding inside his chest until he heard the steel door open. His eyes held nothing but fear when he was someone dressed in a giant cloak, covering his identity.
The cloaked figure made his way towards him before stopping. Felix was unable to get a look at the figure's face since it was covered by the darkness under the pointed hood. His breathing quickened when he thought that this was his end. Was this the Changbin guy? Did he come to kill him?
"Felix..."
Felix gasped softly when he instantly recognized the voice. His eyes widen slightly in disbelief. Jisung wasn't lying. It was him. His ex-boyfriend. Chan was here.
"C... Chan?" Felix cautiously stuttered, and he could have swore his heart dropped when the villain swiped his hood back, revealing the handsome face he loved so much back then.
It had been almost three years since Felix had last seen Chan, but nothing much really changed. He still had the same facial features as before like his big nose and berry-shaped lips, but his eyes no longer held the motivation or spark of life in them. He looked depressed. Empty. Soulless even. The dead, messy blonde hair, pale face, and eyebags were all new. Chan didn't look like he was in the best state, but neither was Felix.
Chan's dark brown irises looked over his ex-boyfriend's physical state. He had a blonde mullet and his hair was messy, but the thing that caught his eye were the sudden shifts of color on the male's skin. The tan skin shifting into a horrifying dark purple and blue on particular spots of his arms and around his neck. The bruises were a decent size, but the pattern of them looked like someone grabbed him viciously. There was a visible hand mark on his neck as if he was being strangled and it was healing slowly.
