Hyunjin almost forgotten how mentally and physically draining it was to be in captivity. He didn't doubt that it was the same for normal human criminals as well, but he truly believed that villains had it rougher. Being kept in a personal cell with no other human interaction between the supervisors or guards and the heroes made things a little too quiet for his liking. He was so used to waking up to Jisung's soft voice that it was starting to pain him physically when he couldn't no more.
The villain had no idea how long it has been, but he could tell it has been a long time. Unlike the last time he was brought in after the collapse of Heaven's Tower, he could feel himself slowly going insane. Hyunjin had no reason to feel so impatient. Even though he had Chan and Changbin to worry about, his idea on getting his revenge against the Hero's Organization had always been top priority. Being captured was the easiest way to get into the heart of the Headquarters, but unfortunately for him, he was taken into the lab for experimenting.
Hyunjin usually plotted multiple plans of escaping or killing any targeted heroes he hated. This time was different as his thoughts drifted off to Jisung who he hasn't seen in months. The more and more he was kept away from him, the more impatient he became. He yearned for Jisung's presence and it grew stronger with each day, but he would kill himself before he mentioned anything about his whereabouts. The main reason why he did this was to keep Jisung away from the heroes; more specifically, Minho.
However, Hyunjin could only take so much. He wasn't completely immune to the hero's plans they had for him since they would strip him from his power and strength. He grew weaker by the day and his stubbornness started to faintly crumble. He knew deep down what Minho was up to when he placed him in a different cell and kept him more isolated than before. Minho literally told him what he was going to do with confidence and Hyunjin was encouraged to fight it... but he couldn't.
Hyunjin had received the specially made contacts that Minho had given him, but it felt like it didn't help much when Minho would just press his thumb up against his closed eyelids as a threat. The hero knew his weaknesses and used it to his advantage, but Hyunjin never confessed to anything. Unfortunately for him, Minho was very patient and didn't mind slowly breaking him by torturing and drugging him.
In his new, isolated room, he had been completely immobilized into a thick chair. His arms were strapped down against the arms of the chairs and his torso was also strapped against the back, keeping from getting up even an inch. His legs were up against the chair's legs and a thick, metal collar clung to his neck. It wasn't tight, but it was uncomfortable when his head was slumped forward due to exhaustion and agony.
His new cell was located in one of the side rooms of an older laboratory for the heroes where it was more desolate than the others. The only person that came to see him was Minho himself and two other people who looked like they were apart of a different unit. Since they were the ones that usually drugged him and gave him shots with unknown substances, he could only guess that they were a part of an experimental or science unit for the Hero's Organization.
Hyunjin's mind was forcibly emptied. Within a few hours after an injection, he was settled into a confused state. The collar he wore had two holes on the side which allowed syringes or needles to pass through and inject him with accuracy. The left side of his neck was left with a painful sting while the rest of his body fell numb. His anger was washed away and was now at a state of confused tranquility.
The only thing he could hear was his breathing and small whimpers. He was thankful that the liquids numbed his pained body, but he couldn't react the way he wanted to. He couldn't express anger or anything of the sort. Whatever he was injected with made him extremely calm despite him knowing that he was about to be controlled. He knew that Minho was preparing to change him to control him... but he couldn't do anything about it. He couldn't even feel irritated because of the drugs blocking his emotions.
