Jisung had gotten into some comfortable sweatpants and had taken one of Hyunjin's t-shirts out of the giant closet. He was currently lying in bed with the huge blanket up to his chin trying to fall asleep. However, he couldn't. No matter how long he had stayed in the bed and switched into new positions every minute, he couldn't seem to fall asleep. He blamed the anxiety and the doubt.

After his heartbreaking visit to Felix, he had left him to go find some healthy and nutritious foods for him. He also left to go get him some water. He stayed and talked to Felix for a few more minutes before actually leaving and doing other things, but his mind was distracted. He kept thinking back to Felix's state, the choice he made, and he even started thinking about possible outcomes when he would tell Hyunjin. That was what brought him the anxiety.

All day, he tried to get his mind off of how he was feeling, but it was pointless. Once again, Jisung found himself having another mental battle with his demon and angel. He never understood why he couldn't make decisions by himself and why he was so dependent on other's opinions, especially Hyunjin's. Perhaps it was because he loved him and he was biased. If it was because of that reason, he wished he would stop. However, he can only wish. Getting Hyunjin out of his mind was just impossible.

He loved Hyunjin. He adored him. He appreciated his efforts of keeping him safe inside the building and away from the heroes that would take them away from eachother. Hyunjin worked every single day to ensure their security. He really did appreciate him, but again, he also had a part of him that felt like something was wrong. He felt like he was being controlled. He didn't feel like a normal person. He started feeling like this after his visit with Felix.

Felix kept going on and on about how glad he was to see that Jisung was okay and how he was scared for his own life. Out of fear, he started rambling about how guilty he felt for bringing Jeongin into this mess and how sorry he was for not finding Jisung sooner. He vented and cried nonstop to get everything out. He really, really needed to talk to another being instead of crying alone in the cold, isolated room downstairs. That giant vent really did impact Jisung. He had never felt so sorry for someone.

He couldn't kill Felix. He just couldn't.

"Darling?" A familiar voice called after the door of their shared bedroom opened. Jisung's eyes opened and he could see the silhouette of his lover in the doorway.

Jisung didn't respond. He just hurried up and closed his eyes, pretending to be asleep. He didn't know why he did it, but he was scared. Scared for the conversation about to come. He hoped to fall asleep and wake up with Hyunjin already gone, but it didn't happen. The impact Felix left on him made him scared to confront Hyunjin about it. He didn't know how he was going to react. The outcomes scared him and he wished for more time.

He could hear the door shut and the clicking of the lock. He could hear boots making contact with the floor approaching the side of the bed, most likely heading towards the lamp on the nightstand. Hyunjin never turns on the main light of the room because it's not dim at all. It's too bright for Hyunjin's eyes which could damage them, so he took the light bulb out just in case Jisung tried to turn it on. Instead of using that, they use the small lamp which doesn't give off as much light.

It didn't take long before he heard a soft click. Before he knew it, his dark vision turned into a soft orange as the light made contact with his closed eyelids. He could hear his heart beating within his chest because of how silent it was. It was a very suspenseful silence since Jisung had no idea what Hyunjin would do or say next. Trained superhumans, such as Hyunjin, have incredible aura detection. He wouldn't be surprised if he knew he was awake.
