A day.
A week.
A month.
Minho never returned from his deadly mission to capture Sinister. Jisung wondered if they even had clues as to where he could be hiding. The heroes that once perched on buildings to patrol the city at night and day were no longer in their positions. Jisung noticed this the third time he went out to buy groceries for himself and the cats. This mission on finding Sinister was a big deal if every hero was on the case.
Jisung wasn't entirely lonely. Felix would stop by and sleep over at his house to keep him company when he had the time. Felix was a detective that worked for the police and the hero corporation, but unfortunately, he had to keep all information confidential from Jisung about the mission. He was a part of the investigation about Sinister's whereabouts and he was extremely good at his job, but it seemed as though Sinister was smarter.
Jeongin, who was a hero in training, was Felix's friend. He shortly became Jisung's friend as well, but he hasn't been able to see him a lot due to his training that required many hours. It was kind of cool to see Jeongin's super fast reflexes and speed. Minho had super strength and flight as his abilities and that was all he saw. Jeongin's powers were different and it got more of a reaction from him.
For a change, Jisung decided to spend the night at Felix's place, which made him cringe at the messy bedroom. Felix cheekily giggled and scratched his nape the moment he stepped in along with his friend before quickly picking all the dirty clothes up and other objects that were scattered across his carpet floor.
"I am sorry about the mess. I guess I should have cleaned before you came over," Felix chuckled as he kicked a book under his floor, not caring that it wasn't in the right place.
"I honestly didn't expect you to have a clean room," Jisung said, making Felix gasp softly as if he was offended.
"Well, I am sorry that I am not a lonely housewife like-" Felix quickly halted his words and actions, not sure if that sentence was offensive to say to Jisung.
Felix knew about his relationship with Minho. Felix also knew that Minho was Moral. He knew that Minho was too busy for Jisung, especially nowadays. Jisung was left to suffocate on the loneliness in his house. He also knew that they were arguing a lot, and he didn't want to share his opinion because he knew it wasn't positive.
Felix was of course on Jisung's side since they have been friends for years, but the one thing he couldn't agree on with Jisung was staying with Minho. He wasn't going to say that out loud, our course, knowing how much Jisung loved him. Or at least... Used to.
"I'm sorry," Felix apologized under his breath, picking up a pair of wrinkly pants and throwing them into the hamper he had in the corner of his room.
"It's fine," Jisung dismissed almost sadly, but he sighed in mental exhaustion as he flopped down on Felix's bed on his back before throwing an arm over his eyes. "I'm tired, Lix."
"Oi, don't fall asleep! You said we were going to make some cookies together!" Felix reminded as he slapped Jisung's thigh to wake him up, which received a yelp of pain from the brown-haired male.
"Ah! Why would you do that?!" Jisung yelled, uncovering his eyes to glare at Felix.
"So you don't fall asleep. Come on! Let's go make cookies!" Felix squealed afterward like a little fangirl, making Jisung sigh tiredly before reluctantly getting up. He was kind of grumpy that he had to stand back up right after sitting down.
Felix lived in a decent-sized one-story home. His room had a queen-sized bed, a nightstand, and a few bookshelves that were decorated with messy stacks of manga and fake, cute little plants. He also had a gaming PC and black-out curtains that sealed the room with darkness. He had a small, connected bathroom with it. Jisung sometimes wondered if Felix lived with someone before because the house seemed like it was perfect for a couple. It was kind of big for a person like Felix who tended to be more of a gamer off work.
