The young child was shivering in the cold room with a black blindfold covering his eyes with a secure knot in the back to keep it from slipping off. Two wet patches were visible on the blindfold where the child's eyes were. Crying was a daily thing for the timid boy, especially when he was being restrained, blindfolded, and treated like absolute shit by the adults and heroes. Everything was so traumatizing for him.

Hyunjin had no idea why his life turned upside down so quickly before. He was once a loving child with two loving parents, but the child was alone now. When he meant alone, he really meant it. He killed his parents on accident due to his power, but it only got worse when he found out he was being accused of being a villain and already had a sentence to serve when he turned eighteen. Some heroes felt sorry for the boy, but they couldn't do anything against their superiors and leader.

The young male had heavy metal restraints around his hands behind his back that would suck the energy out of him with some unknown power. They were connected to the wall behind him. He was sitting down on his knees with his head low, sobbing softly to himself. He had just been transported to a giant aircraft, but instead of following the young kids with the hero teachers, he was taken away and separated. The unknown location, the restraints, and the poor treatment was scaring him. He was being treated like a monster after making a mistake he couldn't control.

Hyunjin was unaware that there was a giant, rectangular-shaped glass window looking into his cell. Outside his cell was a small room filled with buttons and switches that controlled the room. He was also unaware of the three people inside that were having a conversation about him.

"This is him, sir. We are assuming he wasn't born in a hospital since he have no information about him and his parents' bodies were unidentifiable. We are still looking into all that kind of information. He hasn't talked normally ever since the incident except panic and scream, but that is normal. We hope that you could keep an eye on him for the next few years as he progresses onward during the hero programs," an unknown female voice started, causing a hum to be heard afterward.

"I see. Thank you, Mrs. Sana, I will look after him," the other person replied. It was a male around his mid thirties or forties.

"Father... who is that?" A young voice chirped as he pointed at the boy through the glass window. Hyunjin was shaking in fear and his sobs could be heard through one of the devices they had placed in the room. Hyunjin continued to hang his head low, not wanting to be seen in such a state. Everything and everyone was unknown to him. His location was unknown. It felt like he was kidnapped.

"We don't know, Seungmin. It is my job to look after him as the leader of the V.I.C.U... something you will take over when you are older. This is what you might have to do when you're older," the man answered. Seungmin looked at his father and back at Hyunjin, feeling bad because of all the noises of fear he was emitting. He was panting, shaking, squirming in his restraints, and sobbing all at once. The black-haired boy felt like he was going to have a heart attack because of how scared he was.

"I am going to attempt to calm him down, but it might take a very long time for that. How about you go back to the room and study?" His father suggested, but Seungmin shook his head quickly.

"No. I want to watch. I already know everything that will be on the test," the young boy said, making his father chuckle and ruffle his hair.

"Just because you have super intelligence doesn't mean you shouldn't study, but okay," his father approved. It didn't take long for the commander to open the giant door to walk inside with his son following behind.
