"I'm sorry, but I was worried for him and wanted to ask some questions," Jisung admitted softly, feeling one of Hyunjin's pointer finger caress the skin of his neck as he still held it gently. He didn't want to lie to him knowing it might upset the taller even more.

"Worried? For him?" Hyunjin scoffed with disbelief. "He hurt you. He tried to take you away from me and you're saying you're worried for him? You suffered because of him and-"

"Hyunjin, please... I am fine. I am in perfect condition now, but Jeongin is still my... f-friend. He doesn't deserve this. He was just doing his job. A job that he was forced to do like all superhumans," Jisung cut off when he felt the taller hand start to subconsciously squeeze around his throat. He brought his hand to Hyunjin's wrist to just to pry it off.

Hyunjin tightened his grip on his neck nevertheless. "I thought I told you that you were not allowed in here. Why did you disobey?" His voice was calm, but deep and almost threatening in a way.

"I... wanted to ask him some questions myself. I couldn't do that because he is too hurt, so I decided to help him out a bit," Jisung explained, but Hyunjin was overthinking. He was thinking about multiple things at once.

Why didn't Jisung listen? Were the chemicals wearing off? Was something going on? Surely Jisung would've listened to him after all the things he had injected him with. Hyunjin could feel the fearful, guilty, and pain in Jisung's aura, so he was confused as to why he would even go against him in the first place if everything was working.

Since they were standing within the hero's hearing distance, the villain dragged his boyfriend by the neck to the other side of the room. Jisung choked as the pressure on his throat began to suffocate him, but he gasped when it was freed after being dragged to the other side of the torture room. It wasn't released softly though. Hyunjin had pushed him before letting him go completely, making his back collide with the nasty wall opposite of Jeongin. The ravenette male stood in front of him before grabbing his chin roughly. The villain made sure to keep his voice down, but loud enough to where the younger could hear him.

"I didn't give you permission to do any of this, Jisung. I told you that you weren't allowed to see him until I figure things out, but what did you do? You came in here. Not only that, but you released him from the chains and you even helping him for fuck's sake. You could've left him in the chains and questioned him. It doesn't matter if he's in a bad condition. Just slap him or something to wake him up," Hyunjin's grip on his chin tightened slowly with each word. He couldn't help but let the anger slowly come out and it intimidated Jisung.

Suddenly, Hyunjin's anger seemed to spike. He felt it in his aura. Jisung felt the tip of Hyunjin's fingernails dig into his cheeks and he whimpered at the pain, immediately bringing his hands to the villain's wrist. "H-Hyun-"

"Are you trying to leave me?"

Jisung's eyes widened at his assumption. Where did that thought come from? He was at a state of disbelief and confusion after that question. "What?"

"The hero could've talked just fine with some encouragement, but you freed him. You're taking care of him. You even said you were worried for him. That shouldn't be the case, Jisung. You shouldn't worry for him at all. He's no longer your friend. He's an enemy. Our enemy. Treat him as one."

Hyunjin shoved Jisung's face to the side with his last sentence, finally letting go of his chin. His fingernails left crescents on his cheeks while a small red hue began to show around them. Hyunjin had a tightly clenched jaw as he stared down at his lover intensely. Jisung brought his hand up to his cheeks to rub where the villain had hurt him, but his hand was shaking. His body was shaking and his breathing was starting to hitch.
