Everyone was out of it.

Changbin hasn't talked in days. Chan and Changbin no longer communicated. Their recent fight seemed to have really driven them away from each other. It got to the point where Changbin would no longer even try to be in the same room with the older. Chan spent a lot of time away from the mansion and in the basement floors where Felix was, giving Changbin all the space he needed.

Felix and Chan's interactions weren't any better though. Felix hated Chan. Ever since he found out that his parents killed his own, he just couldn't even dare himself to look at him. Chan kept so many secrets away from him when they were dating. Chan was a murderer.  Any normal human being would be afraid, and Felix was indeed afraid. Chan had everything coming at him when he decided to keep his biggest secrets a secret from the one he loved.

But Jisung and Hyunjin?

Well, they weren't doing so good either right now, but Jisung wanted to change that. They went a few days without talking or even being in the same room together. Jisung gave his boyfriend a chance to cool down, but the sudden break was getting too long for his liking.

He didn't know how long it has been, but the brunette did trap himself in their shared bedroom to wait patiently for his boyfriend to return. He didn't though. Jisung was horrified that he wouldn't receive his forgiveness for disobeying him that one time, so he decided to give Hyunjin a lot of time to himself. Yet, maybe he gave him too much time, because now he was planning on going to him instead. He felt heavily depressed by being separated from Hyunjin for so long and he hoped that he wasn't about to bother him.

Jisung's knuckles softly knocked on the heavy metal door to the tech room, where Hyunjin 'worked' at. The knocks seemed louder than they really were thanks to the echoes that bounced off the hallway walls, but it seemed that despite the enhanced volume, Hyunjin was unable to hear from within. He wasn't sure if Hyunjin was located inside, but it was his best guess at the moment.

"Jinnie?" Jisung called from outside the room. "Are you in there?" He was hoping for an answer, but he wasn't expecting one.

Upon hearing no reply or answer behind the metal door, Jisung grabbed the silver, metal handle before turning it and stepping inside. He was met with darkness until the hallway light rushed into the room, allowing him to see the scattered wires and the outline of computers and large black cases that were most likely containing some sort of weapons or gadgets.

Jisung slipped inside the opening between the door frame and the actual door before it closed, creating a loud echo within the large room. It was dark, but he was thankful for the computer screens and holograms on emitting their blue and white light. Jisung stepped further into the room, allowing him to see the wall of screens that had a different website opened on each one, all relating to the Hero's Organization. Hyunjin was obviously stressed because of their current situation and his stress was worrying Jisung.

The male walked forward, seeing no Hyunjin at the large spinning chair in front of the wall of screens and the giant desk filled with neon buttons and keyboards. Jisung looked at one of the smaller screens before his eyes subconsciously started to scan over and read the words on the report.

"Young Investigator and Hero Partner Gone Missing!"

Jisung frowned, hating how fast the police and heroes were able to confirm Felix's and Jeongin's disappearance. The Hero's Organization was already on the case and looking for them. They were most likely connecting his own disappearance with Jeongin's and Felix's. It was only a matter of time before they were found and it seemed like all of this was getting to Hyunjin. The best course of action would be to move, but leaving all this behind for the heroes would be giving away so much information about a lot of other villains and other secret bases.
