85 | Part Two

It's weird how time progresses differently for different people based on their situation. People may think time is going by slowly while someone beside might think that it went by just like that. This was exactly what was happening to the guards, police, and the heroes that were stationed in completely separate buildings of the Hero's Organization HQ.

While the HQ was extremely massive in both area and infrastructure, the heroes didn't take long to respond to an emergency no matter where it was located at. The heroes were prepared for a situation like this because of the hurricane. A hurricane that had unnatural hues and a violent aura to it. A hurricane that struck fear into many people because there was no doubt that a villain was behind all of this. Which one exactly? They didn't know that yet.

Heroes and police swarmed the underground rooms of the hospital, finding deceased, injured individuals in the small layer of water or in their hospital beds. Some looked like they suffocated while others had blood covering their entire being. The water around the hidden rooms instantly gave away the culprit. They weren't expecting the villain to transform into water to get past the forcefield and infiltrate their forces by sneaking through the vents liquefied. There mistake had cost them many lives; lives that were on their way towards recovery.

Seungmin was standing in one of the main corridors to the underground hospital, peering at his phone with a sensation of dread filling his chest. Police and doctors were running around creating a hectic but professional crowd. Many of them were placing the deceased heroes into body bags while the doctors were trying to save any injured but alive victims. Some were shouting commands or instructions and it seemed like nobody opposed. They worked quickly around Seungmin, but everything and everyone went by like a blur to the commander.

Missed call: Felix

It was very early in the morning, but the commander knew that the sun wouldn't be up anytime soon especially with the hurricane raging outside. The villains would have the advantage for quite some time if they use the darkness and unpredictable weather. While Changbin was about to infiltrate by camouflage at the hurricane's rain, he wondered how any of the other villains would get in. Perhaps they were already in.

Seungmin had looked at the desktops surrounding the hospital. While most of them had a white screen up and files opened, there was a certain group of them that had nothing opened. It lead him to believe that a hacker of some sort had also gotten in and hacked the computer to disable their cameras and security. The three dead women around the computers also supported his belief.

The commander tried to call Felix, but he wasn't answering. He knew the boy was spending the night with Jeongin, but unlike the others, Jeongin was still in a stable condition. He was still trapped in a coma but he had no injuries. Seungmin was worried that he gave something up in order to save him such as his life. However, Changbin was a villain. He wouldn't hesitate to harm an injured hero. It had already been proven. So why not Jeongin? Was it because he literally couldn't do anything or was the offer from Felix that great?

"Sir, we were able to turn on the cameras and get back stable connection. However, there is no sign of the culprits. We believe they moved on to a separate building," one of the commanding police officers reported.

"Since they already came here, I doubt they will be back. Tend to the wounded and make sure to inform Sehun that it might be possible that they are going to the control room. I need every hero on their guard especially around any openings like vents. Changbin might try to use Felix's life as blackmail against us too," Seungmin told, making the police officer nod and bow slightly.
